If anyone tries to say anything but glowing remarks about this flawless liquid, I shall condemn them and their descendants to an eternity of Natural Light and misfortune; it's that good. I don't know what these reviews mentioning a bad aftertaste are talking about. I am blessed to be from a city with such good beer...nothing will compare.

The best domestic around, hands down. When I die a 6 pack of it will be poured over my grave.

I love this beer. Brewed in my hometown, we served it at my wedding.

Poured into a chalice: color is hazy gold, head is brighter white and presents about 1/2 inch thick and then dissipates to solid top, some lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is pleasant. light wheat and biscuit, some toast.

Taste is light wheat, some biscuit, toast, mild hops with a neutral/grassy flavor.

Mouthfeel is light sweetness, moderate carbonation.

Overall a good, pleasant tasting, simple wheat beer.

Hazy amber, moderate white head. Served with lemon, wheaty aroma. Wheat & citrus zest flavor. Citrus & carbonation make for good feel. Consumed in Kansas City of course.

Pretty much a staple wheat beer around the KC metro area where I live.

12oz. can served in a tulip nonic. Pours a pale, straw gold with a translucent clarity and a loose, 1/8th inch, off-white head that sizzles and pops and disperses into a band around the edges and a sizzling slick across the surface. Nose is pretty nondescript - some light fruity esters and a grassy quality. Taste consistent with nose - pretty bland. A hint of sweetness comes out at the finish. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation and a slight dryness to the finish. All and all - meh. The mouthfeel and appearance are quite nice but there's not much going on with this beer. At least it's not off-putting but it's mediocre at best.

Reviewed from notes. There’s a slightly clear straw yellow colored body, decent amount of carbonation was seen rising, one finger white foamy head that died within 20 seconds, super light spotty lacing that slid into the body. The smell had wheat combined with lemon and orange, slightly sweet and a bit yeasty underneath. The taste was mainly sweet and yeasty with a secondary citrus back up, slight citrus aftertaste and a dry finish. The palate was light, sessionable. Carbonation is pretty smooth for the style and for me. Overall, I say this is a pretty good American Pale Wheat ale that I would have again.
