Food Pairing - Fresh banana turned out to be great with this beer! I was expecting something good to happen, but the two complimented each other surprisingly well, like having some banana over a bowl of rice krispies.
A - Cloudy, almost dingy yellow color. Gentle pour to prevent the sediment from making its way into my glass resulted in a less than decent head and zero lacing. That one may be on me, so rating it higher than I would otherwise.
S - Banana, cracker, watermelon, dough, all fine, but...I swear I can smell elmers glue in there too. Somewhat off-putting.
T - Banana, strawberry, lemon, faint bubblegum. Interesting because there's a few flavors happening here and they play off each other well.
M - Pleasant yeastyness clings to the tongue and mouth as the snappy hops help to give the impression of gum and citrus, and leaves the sensation of having just eaten some cereal with milk. Pretty neat.
O - Still new to this style, but I give this beer credit for offering hope of the existence of a hefeweizen which I may, someday, truly admire. All in all not bad, just not great.

Half finger head with good retention on a cloudy pale gold body. Aroma is simple, mostly wheat, some pale malts and generic herbs. Flavor is a little dull and simple with some light lemon custard citrus, wheat, light grains. Best part of this one is the mouthfeel which is creamy and smooth with moderate carbonation. Highly drinkable but not very flavorful or memorable.
