The beer comes in a clear deep gold.
The aroma offers crusty bready malts, grapefruit and passionfruit, resin.
The flavor offers a pop of candy fruit quality, grapefruit Jolly Rancher, candy sweet syrup, onto a piney and spicy bitterness from the midpalate that sticks to the palate afterwards. This is supported by a biscuity sweet malt character that slightly counteract that juice and candy sweetness up front.

Appearance: Pours a beautiful dark orange, and rustic, bronzed color with a mild slightly off-white head. (4.25)
Aroma: Huge aromas of key lime, lemon, pineapple, with some tart cherry and berry. You could have fooled me into thinking this was a Leizpig Gose w/ lime and salt. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong lime and lactobacillus sweetness. Very tart. After the tartness fades some darker blueberry notes come through. Some sour milk with some lactobacillus Not getting much malt. Finishes dry and tart. This flavor completely through me off guard. More tart lime, salt, and some berry. Not what I was expecting. (3.5)
Feel: Crisp, clean. A tart astringency left on the palate. (3.5)
Overall: This beer drinks like a hoppier Leizpig Gose. Tons of tart lime, berry and salt with some tropical undertones. Interestingly, I compared this to Cigar City's Guayabera and mislabeled them in a blind taste test. This beer fits the lime and berry tasting notes of that beer much better than the Guayabera itself. A nice pale ale, (actually not even sure I would classify it as a pale ale), but not one I will probably return to. Tart lime and berry are not my thing. (3.5)

A hazy and juicy looking brew. A heavy citrus juice aroma slightly pungent. Taste follows the nose and the pungent taste is not to my liking. Again the pungency gives me the bitter beer face.
Not a fan of this one. Don’t.

Picked up a can of this while in Little Rock for the beer fest. Finally tried it last night. This is my favorite APA so far. I wish they sold it close to me because I could drink every day!

Tropical Pale Ale pours a lighter bronze color, with a big, long lasting and lacing head. Earthy aroma, with lots of grapefruit. Flavor is strange, earthy, hop, with lots of grapefruit and then the sweet passion fruit clashing. Good body and feel. Overall, not the worst but the fruits are too strong, and clash.
