I am not particularly into any kind of fruity beers, tried this for something different though and was pleasantly surprised. Has just the right notes that hit me in all the right spots. Not too tart, not too sweet - just right. I will try this again - maybe on a hot summer day.

12 oz. can

Pours opaque dark rose red with a dense creamy off-white light pinkish foam head. Smells like mixed berry fruit juice, berries, cherries, mild grainy malt, sweet spice, with floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like fruity juicy raspberry, blueberry, tart cherries, sweet cinnamon-esque cobbler spice, grainy malt, with floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy with smooth moderate low carbonation. Overall a really nice blueberry raspberry cherry fruit ale.

Canned 3/8/18; drank 5/10/18 @ the Yarchives.

Opaque purple appearance.

A rough pour yielded a huge pink/white head; thick, frothy tree-rung lace.

Blueberry, wheat & raspberry notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Blueberry & raspberry flavors up front; mild wheat notes on the finish.

This is a straight up fruit beer, showcasing the berries; I like this style & think it's represented well hear. I'd have another...

12 oz. Can
Best By: 06/29/18

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice dark reddish color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy two-finger pink head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, kinda yeasty, with some blueberries, raspberries, cherries. The taste is pretty nice, malty, yeasty, with a nice touch of blueberries, raspberries, cherries, slight tart/sour. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely. Overall, a tasty brew.

Pours a cloudy maize color. 1/2 inch head of an off-pink color. Great retention and decent lacing. Smells of raspberry, cherry, sweet malt, slight pale malt, slight dough, and a hint of citrus hops. Fits the style of a Fruit/Vegetable Beer. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of raspberry, cherry, sweet malt, slight pale malt, slight dough, hint of alcohol, and a hint of citrus hops. Overall, good appearance, aroma, body, and blend.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/8/2018. Pours fairly hazy ruby red/orange/pink/purple color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of juicy/lightly tart/tangy raspberry, blueberry, cherry, fruit skin, melon, citrus zest, red grape/wine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of berries, bready malts, and light fruity yeast/citrus hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy raspberry, blueberry, cherry, fruit skin, melon, citrus zest, red grape/wine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, grassy, citrus peel bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy raspberry, blueberry, cherry, fruit skin, melon, citrus zest, red grape/wine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, bready malts, and light fruity yeast/citrus hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit balance; with zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly acidic/tangy/tannic, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.9%. Overall this is an excellent fruit beer! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, bready malts, and light fruity yeast/citrus hop flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink, with the mellowly tart/bitter/drying finish. Awesome jammy berry flavors with balanced bready malts. Not overly sweet. A very enjoyable offering and spot on style example. Exceptional levels of fruit presence.

Pours a murky ruby-maroon with a finger of pink foam. Head retention is good with a few strands of lacing. Aroma is blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Nice hearty, almost lambic-like aroma. Flavor profile is dense notes of blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries. Berries are well done, with no notable sour or tart side effects. There is a little hit of earthy, biscuit malts at the finish which keeps the berry notes from lingering on the tongue. Mouthfeel is medium-thin, with a watery feel that makes the whole thing for a little thin and lacking. Overall, it begins to approach the lambic style taste, but is broken up by a touch of malt at the finish.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 12oz can. Reviewed from notes.

Boulevard Jam Band Berry Ale, 5.9% ABV. Pours violet with a one finger white head. Nose is tart raspberry - reminded me of a fruit lambic. Taste is raspberry and cherry, a bit tart, a bit sweet. Excellent mouthfeel, overall very excellent to outstanding.

On tap. Poured a purplish, red color with a small, pinkish head of foam. It smelled very fruity. I really picked out the raspberry and cherry. Sweet fruity flavor - lots of cherry, some raspberry. Nice tart finish.
