A pleasant looking if somewhat hazy beer. Light yellow/copper appearance. A clean citrus finish but poor mouth feel and limited head retention. The carbonation is very "pop-like". Either the yeast or hops bill leave a pronounced metal/alcohol taste behind...almost a lingering silver tequila followed by a lime wedge kind of taste imo. The beer tastes very "green" and rushed to production. Strong pineapple notes. Not a fan.

From a can packaged 2/18/21
Appearance - Straw yellow, medium haze, little crop of white foam, lacing sticks around the glass.
Aroma - High levels of pineapple among other tropical fruitiness. Lower levels of citrus character. Not much malt character, a hint of wheat.
Flavor - Strong pineapple and grapefruit citrus. Wheat malt adds a bit of crisp flavor to the malt profile but this is a hop forward, juicy fruit flavored ale. Finish has a complimentary bitterness that is slightly drying. Clean aftertaste.
Feel - Medium low body to the beer. Carbonation is normal. A little light in body.
Overall - Not as soft and dextrin rich as a juicy hazy IPA, not as bitter and dry as a west Coast IPA. A little light in body for the IPA moniker, but a good easy drinking beer with interesting hop character.

It has been a long time since I have had an IPA this good, so hoppy of course, but with balance and even finese.

The mouthfeel stands out --- super luciously smooth with a lingering presence of hop oils. Slightly sweet at first but finishing very dry, even appropriately astringent. I'm tasting pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, ginger, black pepper, spruce and juniper berries. Maybe even some cannabis-like terpenes.

This beer is seriously good.

Purchased at Aldi's in Oklahoma, in a six pack of 12 oz. cans.

Yep, it's another IPA. This one is pretty decent, but nothing different from any of the million other IPAs out there. ABV is about right, and it's not too hoppy or bitter, so it's drinkable in my book. Had it as part of a mix pack so at least I got to try it, but wouldn't go out of my way to get it. It's just fine.

Poured from the can to a tulip glass, a short 1F off white head forms that settles quickly with minimal lace. Color of beer is yellow with a reddish amber tinge and about 90% opaque.

On the nose I get mango, pineapple, and orange notes along with a hint of grapefruit hops and salty air. There is a pretty big hit of onion or other Sulphur hop note as the beer warms up a bit, but not too offputting, just enought to detract.

Taste follows the nose with a salty, mineral, and the fruits above. The nose hinted at a more juicy sweet take than on the palate which is creamy salted fruit and drier than slippery juice. Hops are not bitter and quite restrained with less grapefruit than I anticipated.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and slick and rounded art first then ending with light dryness that is not too astringent. Carbonation is medium to light and with rather fine bubbles. More fruit comes in on the end with some slickness as it warms a bit. Not cloying and not too astringent makes me a happy space camper.

This is a nice IPA in line with Avery's Hazyish and Epic's Escape to CO. It is well balanced and a bit restrained with a tiny bit of pith bitterness. A nice middle of the road slightly juicy IPA that is easy to drink.

Decent middle of the road IPA, hits all the resiquite notes; citrus-hoppy w/ a slight pine-resin aftertaste. Sessionable at 5.9% abv...or a perfect spacer if going down the D/IIPA rabbit hole.

12oz can into a pint glass. Canned 10/01/20, so 7 weeks old.

Looks very good in the glass. Hazy dull yellow body. Nice loose bubbly bright white head which persists in good form throughout leaving very nice lacing.

Kind of a sweet fruity aroma on the nose.

On tasting, seems lighter than the listed abv. Fruity, refreshing, lightly bitter towards the end. Good beer.

Mouth just about medium, finish a sweet fruity wash with a bitter finish.

Overall, this one went down extremely well (and quickly). Nice flavors, quite fruity, and a bitter finish. Could hammer down a six pack on a warm day. Good one.

Pretty decent IPA .. looks great with a big frothy head ... Nice nose ... Feels a bit thin to me, but drinks easy and tastes good ... We'll call this slightly above average for the style.

This review may be somewhat influenced by the fact I had a Yellow Rose just before drinking this beer. It does not compare well. Had it on draft poured into a shaker pint. Clear yellow color with thin head and thin lacing. Citrus and pine smell and taste. Taste a bit dull, maybe not fresh. Okay but not something I would seek out again.

A: Hazy straw color. Light head that is intense but fades after a few minutes.
S: Grapefruit, pine, light bread, tropical notes
T: Bready at first moving to a bright citrus taste like lemon. It's almost sour and sweet like a shaved ice. Pine. The bitterness seems to be well-balanced. Little grassiness. Something like passion fruit maybe? I'll say it's juicy. Pretty decent finish.
M: Medium body, good carbonation
O: This was an overall good juicy IPA. Would have again.

Murky, cloudy yellow with a small head. STandard smell of citrus and hops. Taste follows with a solid malt backbone. Light, refreshing feel. This was recommended by a stranger in the liquor store. A good choice.

This is an average IPA. It is easy to drink and refreshing on a hot day. It is described as a juicy IPA, but I do not think it reaches that description. I would drink it again, but I would choose any number of IPAs first.

12oz can with a smudged date on the bottom, presumably a 'drink before' warning. Very faded, I can barely read the digits

Looks great, little head but unfiltered with a medium amount of sediment thoroughly dispersed. Smells like my armpits right about now, just got done chopping some wood. Dank, lemon, pine and earth round out the hops profile. Drinks down very easily, even being on the more bitter end of the spectrum. The hops are in perfect harmony with the rest of the flavor, it's extremely well balanced and never dips into "dish soap" flavor, even with the extreme hopping

A very well done IPA that blasts you with hops but retains balance and character. Enjoy!

A nicely balanced malty / fruity hopped IPA (ABV is more pale ale territory). Nothing really jumps out in this one but it is a pleasurable IPA experience. Pretty simple yet pretty good.

Poured from a 12 oz can dated 5/11/2020 tasted 3/15/2020

Pours a slightly hazy gold color. Head is eggshell white and a bit frothy, roughly 2 fingers. It fades, but does retain some and lace a bit.

Aroma is a strong bit of melon/citrus with some hops and a bready element as well.

Taste follows the aroma. Strong melon and citrus but the balance of hops and bread is pretty good. The can describes it as “juicy,” which probably sums it up better than I could otherwise. Hoppy bitterness is there and provides balance, but it’s not the star as in some IPAs. Finish is semi-dry.

Feel is fairly light, but there is a good bite on the tongue and strong carbonation. The slight tartness almost resembles a sour in some ways.

Overall, enjoyable. I would recommend this to someone who isn’t big on IPAs or isn’t used to hoppy bitterness.

Poured from a 16oz can dated May 11 2020: Pours a bright, light yellow/gold straw color with a slight haze and a nice foamy white colored with a 1.5-2 finger head. Decent head retention and slight lacing. The aroma is very citrusy hop forward, but not aggressive, and is well balanced by a fruity/bready undertone. There are hints of lemon, melon, and something orange or maybe even pineapple. This is a smooth Ipa and as many have said is like a light Ipa. In my opinion it's refreshing, and tasty. And at 5.9% ABV is sort of sneaky, it's taste is not too alcohol forward, and it's juicy citrus taste makes for an easy drink. If you have the opportunity, it's worth a try.

Pours with a hazy golden body and a semi-durable white head.
Citrus hops dominate the aroma and the flavor and bring along hints of other heroically fruits.
Crisp, dry, medium-light body with medium carbonation.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, the canned date is "062519" and the best by date is "22NOV2019", this beer is a full month past the best by date.

APPEARANCE: pours a hazy, straw color with one-finger white head, excellent retention, the head slowly dissipated until a white cap of small bubbles remained, medium carbonation, moderate lacing on the glass.

SMELL: bread and tropical fruits like pineapple and mango.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet orange and pineapple citrus then a dank, soapy note and bread on the finish.

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: this is a good beer but it's got a dank, soapy note on the finish that I do not find appealing, a good beer but I would not seek it out again.

12 oz can. Pours hazy orange gold with lots of floaties and a small white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is a bit odd - fruit and a weird ashy cardboard.

The flavor is sweet tropical fruit juice with a light bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a decent fruity IPA.

12oz can poured into Duvel tulip. Bottom of can printed 062519 so apparently this can is about 5 months old. Not too bad for an IPA but not exactly fresh.

Appearance - Opaque yellow body. Massive 3 finger head with decent retention and weak stick. Subsequent pours aren't as impressive. 4

Smell - Soft grass. Orange-like rounded citrus. 4.25

Taste - Alcohol. Bitter citrus rind and somewhat rounded grass. 4

Mouthfeel - Sharp up front but rounds out slightly in the middle. Astringent but somewhat balanced. 4

Overall - While I'm not a particular fan of any one of the individual characteristics, it does come together nicely. Very drinkable, rounded, and balanced. 4

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice hazy dark golden yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple), nice pine note. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple), nice pine note. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little bitter/dry finish. Poured from a can into a tulip.

Pours a nice hazy gold with decent head and lacing. The aromas are very fruity, with mango, pineapple, and other tropical flavors very forward. The brew follows the nose and is very fruity, so much so that it comes off more like a fruity APA than a true IPA. It is well carbonated and light.

If I was rating this as an APA, it might rate higher. As an IPA, it isn't "on" for the style.
