Space Camper Cosmic IPA is an exhilarating initiation into a mind-bending alternate universe of India Pale Ales. Our brewers employ massive hop additions at the end of the boil, and during fermentation, to minimize upfront bitterness and create a juicy IPA bursting with tropical fruit flavors and aromas of nectar and citrus.

Yes, there is no upfront bitterness, as the blurb states, something I like a lot. Nor are the citrus additions upfront either, but come through in the aroma and later on the tip of the tongue. Very smooth and drinkable. Highly recommended.

Slightly hazy and light golden with a decent white head. Nice fruity nose with citrus, pineapple and cherry sweetness. Fruitiness comes through on the flavor but lacks potency and finishes with an almost astringent piney bite that is short lived. Really nice creamy feel and peppy carbonation.

Flavour follows, slightly tart passion fruit, grapefruit, caramel sweetness rounding things out, slight grassy bite to it. Mouthfeel is lighter medium bodied, easy to drink, mild grassy bitterness.
