Dark brown body with a finger of tan foam that eventually settles. If I were to sum up this beer in one sentence it would be: there is a lot going on and it is beautiful. Smell and taste get different aspects of this complex whole more powerfully. Smell hits the wood, the various booze, roasted malts, dark fruit, char, and roasted nuts more. The taste sees all of that as more of the base, and expounds on them with toffee, belgian yeast, dried berries, vanilla, earth, even more dark fruit, and a kiss of hops. Score higher for taste because I thought it capture a bit more of the complexity. Feel was boozy, woody, malty, heavy, chewy, and decently dry. The wife liked it. Wish I had another bottle so it could age.

Pours a brown black with a big fluffy tan head that falls slowly.
Aroma is bourbon barrel, big malt, roasted stouts, barley wine like deep caramel notes, toffee, vanilla. Smooth not as complex as you would imagine but good.
Taste is like the nose bourbon dominate the barrel some light sherry or port hints, oak and vanilla. Roasted stout with cherry caramel notes, toffee.
Mouthfeel is big medium with pretty peppy carbonation that could be more mellow for my tastes.
Overall not bad but was expecting more really.

Rich and complex. Leans heavily towards a bourbon aged barley wine of all the beers inside. Very tasty.

750ml bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of bourbon, oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, toffee and woody notes. Sweet boozy taste with chocolate, vanilla, charred oak and molasses flavors. (Celebrated by 10,000th unique on Untappd.)

The beer pours a brown and bubbly head that dissipates at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a dark chocolate brown with a nice bourbon like texture to it.
The smell is interesting. The stronger notes are blend of the different barrel aged beers with whiskey coming upfront and finishing with a port/sherry note. The beer notes consist of a toffee note and moderate chocolate note as well. Also, it finishes with a sharp alcohol note for a quick moment.
The taste is good. It's a fairly sweet and interesting beer with the blend of different liquors. Unlike the smell, they're better mixed in the taste so more of them come out. The rye whiskey and bourbon come it more in the beginning before transitioning to a toffee with wooden notes and finishing a mix of cherry and sweet grape port notes.
The feel is good. It has a heavy body with a lot of soft carbonation to it. The beer has a lot of burn to it and a slightly dry finish to it.
Overall, it's an indulgent beer with delicious notes. However, it really comes out when slowly sipped due to the intense heat but it really does pay off for those who drink it with patience.

Black in color with no penetration to light. There’s a half inch of creamy and densely packed brown on top. It faded within a few minutes to a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering half of the top. The aroma is of bourbon, vanilla, and tart port. I’m tasting port, vanilla, bourbon, sherry, plum, and dark malt. The mouth is very thick and chewy.

This sexy looking beer caught my attention last weekend at Total Wine, inside its cardboard tube. I’ve never had a blended beer that uses quite this many different beers, and I’m excited to see what each one brings to the final product
Pours a very dark, muddy brown with 3 fingers of tan head that slowly fades to a single finger that never disappears and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is quite nutty and malty, reminding me of a barleywine. I get almonds, molasses, dark chocolate, cherry, dates, coffee, and toast. The various barrels impart several oaky and vinous notes to create a compelling blend. A busy aroma for sure
The long and contemplative sip starts off with quite the decent alcohol heat, which is calmed by dark fruit and brown sugar. On the swallow, these are both dialed up to 11, but so much more comes into play. I get roasty coffee, earthy oak, lightly tart grape, and rich caramel. Complex as all hell
This is obviously full bodied and chewy, and when paired with very gentle carbonation and significant alcohol heat, it is a recipe for a slow sipping beer best enjoyed over a long session. The heaviness culminates throughout the sip but the sheer amount of alcohol comes in to make for a dry and sweet finish
Goddamn, this was good stuff. On paper, the idea of blending 8 different beers doesn’t exactly sound appealing, but the end product is just short of legendary. Incredible beer, nice job guys
