Notes / Commercial Description:
With roots in two of today's most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Cloudy pale gold. White foam trace head but with decent lacing. Smells fairly light of wheat and is non-descript. Taste is lemony, crisp, mildly bitter and clean. A very light washing of sweetness. Decent medium body with a firm body. Crisp carbonation. Overall is crisp, refreshing and enjoyable if not fantastic.

Appearance: Pours a hazy goldenrod color; the head was a little small for a wheat but left strands of lacing behind

Smell: Bright and lemony; quite fragrant, with undertones of bread

Taste: Dominated by the lemony hops, there are also undertones of bread and grass; herbal and tangy flavors linger well into the finish

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate carbonation; very crisp

Overall: A bit too lemony for my taste buds, I almost find myself puckering from the tanginess; a nice twist on the style, nevertheless
