Pure amber, but not too clear. Has a well-retaining, rocky, foamy, off-white head. Lace and legs galore. Pine, resin, sweet orange on the nose. Bit of malt and caramel as it's sat for a while. A lot of grapefruit or lemon rind in the palate, going well with the tartness. Also piney, vegetal, metallic, with some cracker. A crisp and bitter rindy, almost peppery finish. Relatively clean. Aftertaste is surprisingly mellow, as much warm biscuit as it is bitter. Well-balanced for 104 IBUs. Too well-balanced. Medium-bodied but seems a bit thin in the back. Extremely highly carbonated, prickles and suds.
