I was very surprised to see this beer in cans at a Mexican Restaurant In Florida. This beer looks like your typical NEIPA with yellowIsh haze and a little bit of foam on top. Not much to smell but the can may have some age. Some fruitiness to smell but not that strong but I’ll assume a fresh can must smell pretty good. The taste starts out really good with some vanilla and almost no bitterness from the citra and mosaic. That is followed by sweetness from the lactose. Overpowering sweetness that doesn’t let the hops linger. If they cut the lactose down by half, this would be a great beer. Again, it my be the age of the can that had allowed the lactose to be overpowering. As it is, it’s still very good but can only be drunk slowly or the cloying sweetness starts bothering you. The mouthfeel is excellent because the beer feels soft/pillowy and the carbonation is subtle. Overall a very good beer that could be great.

Undated can; drank 8/9/19 @ the Yarchives.
Nice expression of the milkshake IPA, unfruited division; nice notes of vanilla & mild orange citrus. Good, soft mouthfeel as well.
I'd have another!

The branding here is so cynical I honestly kind of admire it.
Pours milkshakey: thick yellow dyed white-ish with hop resin.
Smells very citra-forward but some mango nodes shining through from the mosaic. Fairly straightforward for the style, but nicely done.
Tastes like it smells: high-acid, fruit-forward hops. Citra starts things out, smoother mango nodes in the middle and finish, and a decent bit of bitterness at the back end to balance things out.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 13, 2018. New England style milkshake IPA brewed with lactose. Hopped with Citra and Mosaic.

This is one of the hands down best beers I have had. An absolute juice bomb that is smooth. The finish is perfect and lingers just long enough.

Thank you Vidblain for this
16 oz can poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden straw with a three finger white head
S- Tropical fruits, citrus, some pine, a little dank, nice touch of lactose
T- Tropical, melons, citrus, some lactose, hint of dank hops, nice balance
M- Smooth, creamy, medium body
O- Really nice, good balance. Lactose isn’t over done, hops are right, would love to see what fruit and vanilla would add to this

Opaque pale yellow to dark straw appearance. Leaves a decent amount of lacing. Yogurt-like nose with plenty of tropical fruit undertones. Creamy tropical fruit palate with sweet vanilla popping up on the finish. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel is the highlight of this beer. A well crafted NE style IPA.

Pours an opaque hazy pineapple juice color. Thick white head falls back quickly leaving a fair amount of lacing. Aroma is a mild blend of citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor follows the nose with a hint of vanilla, little to no bitterness in the end. Feel is super creamy and rich. Overall a delightful NEIPA.
