canned in a crafty craft can
pours really surprisingly a slightly golden body with good white head
the aroma is really good coffee grounds
the flavour is good coffee, slightly milky, slightly sweet but stout?

Enjoyed on tap in Lyon Bière Festival.
Really intringuing and nice. This amber ale is brewed with coffee and aims a white stout.
Green coffee, herbal presence all along. Almost pepper spice. Unique.

Tawny gold with some haze and stiff but loose beige foam. 3.75
Stale coffee and Demerara sugar. 3.75
Toffee shortbreads, then coffee grounds, rock candy, slight peanuts, and some hay to finish. Scrubbing clean humming linger. 3.75
Medium, creamy, hot. 4

Odd one - tons of coffee and the lactose (and oats) makes the body comically big, so ticks the boxes that way. But also scorched earth bitterness to end and a bit boozier than it needs to be. With my eyes closed, I can fool myself that I’m drinking a (sugary) flat white, so I guess this wins. But it’s not Calm Before The Storm. 3.75

Cloudy amber to look at. no reaction and very little head action after pooring. strange that it looks like a larger but distinctly smells quite chocolatey on the nose. flat and creamy, velvety on mouthfeel with a slight aftertaste. I enjoyed this drink, 7.4% ABV on the can.
