My first Belgian Pale brewed in Mexico was refreshing on two counts.
First, I was glad a craft brewer had tried successfully to transcend the Germanic-lager styles that owns this market.
Second, it was a refreshing beer after a long day of touring. (Having it on a rooftop hotel was niceing on the cake.)
It had a generous head and a pleasant pale.
While aromas are not strong, the sweet malt and spicy, peppery blend well with the yeasty banana. And finishes dry-ish.
If I were ever to find this in the U.S.A, I would buy it.
Probably the best Mexican beer I had in a nine day stay in Mexico City.

Bonito color transparente dorado, cuando se sirve se forma una corona de espuma pero no tiene mucha retención, buen sabor, se siente ese 6.5% de alcohol pero con buen sabor

L- Clear golden body with very light visible carbonation activity. Nice 2 finger fluffy white head with bubbles. Medium retention leaveing a 1/4 inch crown head behind.
S- Clove, pepper, champagne. Slight banana note. Aroma is good but slightly weak, I had to give it several sniffs to get all notes.
T- Spicy, pepper, clove, coriander. Sweet caramel, grain malts. Leaves a dry, slightly spiced, aftertaste.
F- Light body, not watery. Refreshing and crisp.
O- Very nice refreshing brew. All notes are well represented but not very strong. One of the most drinkable belgian pale ales I've had.

Could have possibly fooled me into thinking it was Leffe blond.

A prefect example of what the Mexican craft scene now has to offer.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a stemmed tulip glass. Thanks Emily for bringing this home from her trip to Mexico.

Pours a crystal clear body with a white head that reduces quickly to leave a ring of retention.

Aromas are peppery, banana, spicy, white wine and champagne. On the tongue is delicious banana, clove, spices, sweet caramel, followed by pale malt and a peppery belgian character. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, crisp and refreshing.

Overall I'm very impressed. I'd order this in Mexico if I saw it.
