Probably in my top three Aslins, along with Mind the Hop and Double Orange Starfish. The fantastic hop combinations are what make this one rise above the others. Can't wait to try more from these guys!

Poured from a growler filled at the brewery into an Aslin teku glass.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a beautiful 2-finger effervescent head. The head slowly recedes into a thick, foamy halo, leaving a ton of cobweb lacing as it dies. This is like looking at boobs in a glass.

The aroma is quite tropical, bringing notes of pineapple, fresh mangoes and blueberries. The back end holds cracker malt and pine.

The flavor straight up gave me a quarter chub. It starts out tropical and sweet, just like the nose. Pineapple for days, followed by overripe melon and a touch of berries. Then comes a wave of juicy citrus; Ruby red grapefruit, clementines, and fresh orange juice. Finishes with some biscuits and a ton of pine. Sweet and fruity yet bitter on the end and incredibly well balanced. This is a God damn beer.

The feel is medium bodied with pretty lively carbonation. Creamy, yet slick and slightly oily. The alcohol is hidden well.

Overall, an absolutely incredible DIPA. It's juicy, it's fruity, it's bitter, it's resinous. I would have sex with this beer.

No canned on date, but assumed fresh. From the 01/25/18 release?

Appearance - Pours opaque and dull orange in color with a sandstone, finger width head. Good retention, resulting in a thin, consistent layer of suds and thickening up around the edges.

Smell - I'm not getting much out of the nose. A bit of pineapple acidity. Hints of mango and orange. A fair amount of yeast.

Taste - Moderate juiciness. Mellow tropical notes of mango, pineapple and melon. Faint orange. Yeasty, bready undertone. The finish lingers with a bit of orange and pineapple acidity.

Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of medium-bodied with moderate, tingly carbonation. Firm, silky texture with a crisp, slightly dry finish.

Overall - This is a good, solid hazy DIPA, but I'm not sold on the mellow flavors. I guess I'm nitpicking because it's pretty tasty, but I wouldn't put it on my 'must-have' list.

Pours a very cloudy deep gold color with a frothy off white 3 finger head.

Aroma has pineapple notes up front with grapefruit zest. Fairly pungent and foretells great things.

Taste... holy crap this is great! fresh fruit sweet like sipping the juice out of a tropical fruit cup. Ripe pineapple and blackberry, orange and grapefruit. There is a moderate malt base that comes through as a rich sweetness. It is a little sticky on the lips too. The finish is still fruity.

Feel is smooth and creamy with a little alcohol burn in the finish.

Oh my this was a surprise! Never had a beer like this one despite many many NEIPAs. The fact they can hid 8.1% and some malt behind such a grand fruit hops flavor is amazing. Aslin - I really loved your stuff before but this was a true treat. Thanks!

Revisited 2/2/18

Pours a nice hazy orange yellow color with a nice head and lacing. Aroma has orange, grapefruit and mango hints. The taste follows the nose with abundant orange, grapefruit and mango flavors. The beer is medium bodied with decent carbonation and a gentle bitterness. A very good beer. As good as I remembered it.

On tap at the brewery in a snifter. It is a very well balanced beer. Great aroma, great color (not too hazy) and great taste. It is one of their best beers!
