Pew Pew Pew is our Triple IPA clocking in at 12.8% ABV. Pew Pew Pew is Dry Hopped with copious amounts of three of our favorite hops: Citra, Mosaic, & Galaxy. The result is a huge soft pillowy mouthfeel with notes of peach, passionfruit, mango, & pineapple.

On tap at Das Biergarten. Hazy, more murky, orange. Smells of citrus, alcohol, and lots of sweet tropical fruit. Tastes of tropical fruit hops, huge alcohol presence, and a hefty dose of sugar. Alcohol burns in the back. Huge. Not my thing.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Quite clear, with a golden orange color, and amber hinting brown and maybe even some red as well, making for a real impressive body color. Fine but visible orange carbonation, crawls literaly up in slow motion. Beaming khaki colored head, billowing off the pour with big retention, thick lacing, and lots of legs. Quite an impressive looking IPA.
Aroma bends in different directions. Sensing herbal tea with lots of honey and caramel malt mixed in. Tea aromas get into much more pronounced flavors, that make for a sweet experience emphasized by a sweet boozy hinting nature as well. Comes out thick and powerful, almost as a thick perfume of fruit.
On first sip, we seem to be in familiar territory. Bitter pine with a treacle like and honey mixing flavor. Aftertaste has a lingering almost pine smoke flavor, with a malt backbone that is fairly neutral in flavor if heavy in mouthfeel. Heated booze with mild fusel like notes. Minimal sensing fruit quality just barely hinted.
The beers lack of hop flavor and distinction, and simple pine heat, lacks the excitement of most IPAs, but it's easy drinking nature in this very big package is quite impressive. Either way it's just solid overall.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 7/3?/23, had 8/23/23.
Pours a cloudy, bright orange with a one and a half inch creamy foam head and a good amount of foamy lacing. Aromas of pineapple, peach, mango, some orange, malt, light pine. The flavors are similar: peach, pineapple, mango, malt, some pine, some hop bitterness midway through the finish. Smooth, a very good lighter body, well carbonated.
Pretty tasty. Lots of bright fruit with enough hop bitterness to provide a contrast. Very enjoyable.

I’ve had a bunch of strong IPA’s from Aslin but this was by far the smoothest. Dangerously easy to drink, especially if it’s your 2nd or 3rd beer of the session. The 12% was very well hidden and it only had a mild malty, sugary caramel sweetness to compliment the juicy citrus flavors.

16oz can from Tavour. Orange amber pour with a thin skimpy white head. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Taste is malty, orange peel, toffee with a little ABV boost. Sweet, earthy, strong

Thought I had this, but I guess not. Looks like honey, minimal head and lacing. Slightly citrusy, malty, and piney notes on the scent. Tangy notes of pineapple to start on the taste, slightly malty and piney, a bit dank. The alcohol presents itself with the maltiness, like all great TIPAs, but it’s got a subtlety that sneaks up on you. Mouth watering finish, an easy sipper, which makes the ABV even more dangerous. Really good.

16oz can pours a hazed golden with a three finger slightly off white head which leaves some nice lacing.
Nose is citeus, piney..hops. Mango, grapefruit peel and pineapple.
Mouth is sweet creamy citrus upfront and nicely balanced out with hop bitterness. Smooth and juicy.
AVB is very well hidden. Very drinkable in volume so watch out
