Dark, cloudy, orange beer with a quickly fading off white head. Smells sweet with oranges, vanilla and piney hops. The taste is sweet orange juice with vanilla and an aggressive bitterness. Nice medium body and great carbonation. Pretty tasty beer.

Cans. Deep orange opaque color with good bit of carbonation (almost too much). Mild sweet vanilla with orange, pineapple and other tropical aromas and flavors. Really good mouthfeel.

Another thanks to Drew, found one more Aslin in the fridge, of course no canning date

Pours a decent fizzy creamy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, a little lacing, very hazy sediment laden golden honey color

Nose lots of hops, citrus, a bit tropical, dank tropical and a bit of piney dank maybe oniony mosaic like, mild pineapple, tangerine and clementine, actually the deeper I go the citrus becomes mandarin oranges, touch of creamy malt and vanilla, but fairly light overall.

Taste starts strong with orange and vanilla cream, big time mandarin oranges covered in vanilla cream with pineapple candy topping, generic citrus and a little rind, pineapple juice, tangerine, some sweetness with orange pineapple sweet juice and creamy wheaty malts, alcohol is mostly hidden well until I swallow and it tingles the throat a bit, as well as the drier but sticky finish, tingly alcohol, plenty of citrus and pineapple lingering with a bit more vanilla cream.

Mouth is med to heavier bod, not quite syrupy but decent sweet, nice carb, little warming tingly booze later

Overall an interesting beer, almost more gimmicky but fairly enjoyable.

First off, this has a ton of sediment. Not the normal yeasty floaties, but sludge that I would guess is trub from the bottom of the tank. Bleh. Next, if you're going to add fruit to IPAs, they'd better have a more explosive and in-your-face fruit flavor than the base beer. That's not the case here. In addition, vanilla in IPAs has a tendency to get sweet and cloying very fast. That is the case here. Lastly, the alcohol at 9.4% is very apparent. Decent beer but nothing I feel the need to drink again.

Pours cloudy gold color with a lot of sediment floating in it with a small 1 finger off white head that faded slowly and good spotty lacing.

Smells like juice with a delicious blend of pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, guava, light floral notes, sweet malt, biscuit and hints of green apple. Very fruity and complex, it's a total hop bomb.

Tastes is ridiculously fruity, it's totally like drinking a glass of pineapple juice with fresh squeezed orange juice mixed in, along with lemon, green apple, lime, guava, papaya, dank citrus hops, yeast, piney hops, light peppery spices, graham cracker and trailing vanilla. Totally unbalanced in the best way possible, this is a very complex beer that is all citrus hops with a delicious sweet vanilla finish. What a great combo, so smooth and easy to drink while hiding the ABV masterfully.
