From a can dated 03/15/17 picked up at the brewery this morning. Looks like carbonated orange juice - very thick and opaque looking. Nice NE IPA nose with dominance of orange and other tropical fruits. Taste is orange but there is also a bit of astringent bite that is distracting (similar to, but not as bad as my experience with Never and Again) and hits the back of the throat as well. This also impacts the mouth feel. Pithy (vice hoppy) bitterness that stays longer than is welcome. Gets worse as beer warns. Couldn't finish the can.

I am missing the smoothness and the rich flavors described below -- can't be the same experience. Bad batch or does it need to sit in the can longer? I sat down expecting to be blown away, but this is not good. Will try another can in a couple of weeks and update if it is better.

This is a very murky, brownish, orangish beer with a finger and a half of sticky, off white head. This smells like freshly peeled oranges, grapefruit peel, mangos and some dank, herbal hops. The creamy beer tastes like the scent with a nice juicy sweetness that yields to a pithy bitter finish. Really tasty example of the hazy IPA.

Look: 2-finger white head is slow to recede. Body is a lovely deep orange, as advertised.

Smell: Oranges! Also grapefruit, lemon.

Taste: citrus, with a surprisingly bitter finish.

Feel: medium-full body.

Overall: another classic Aslin IPA. I had thought from the name that this would be orange overload, but it's actually a perfectly balanced brew. The orange notes are subtle, which is appreciated.

16 oz. can dated 2/14/17. Poured into Teku glass.

L: The now-standard hazy orange/copper. 2F head on pour, poor retention leaves cap and ring.

S: Lots of orange, grapefruit, lemon and lime peel, plus pineapple and mango, and a great earthy dankness.

T: Follows nose and is JUICEBOMB SOLID. Soft rounded flavors and the dank finish is just that, not bitter. No indication of alcohol.

F: Medium body, light to medium carbonation for both good creaminess and pretty good drying. Scary drinkable for the ABV. Impeccable construction and balance.

O: Was concerned the combination of my two favorite Aslin IPAs would be a problem. Not a problem. Just as good as either of them on their own.
