The beer pours a nice white and very light head that dissipates very quickly . The beer itself is a nice hazy, opaque orange with a good yellow hue to it. The texture is a bit watery but it still looks good.

The smell is good. It has a good ripe grapefruit smell and a nice earthy pine smell to it.

The taste is good. It has the same notes but the lactose comes and turns the grapefruit into more of a creamy and sweet ripe grapefruit.

The feel is good. It's a medium bodied beer that is on the lighter side and a bit thin feeling too. The feel is also pretty smooth with some slight acidity to it.

Overall, a solid and unique IPA.

Can from 5/3/18 release poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: Hazy light orange-gold. Scant 2F head, OK retention, but no lacing and not much of a cap and ring.

S: Citrus, in the orange spectrum, and some earthy dankness.

T: Citrus, orangey, and some malty creaminess. Oddly, the milk sugar added doesn't send this in a creamsicle direction, it just adds body. Somewhat earthy finish, but not particularly bitter.

F: Medium body for this unusual concoction, moderate carbonation. Very good construction and superb balance. Fairly drinkable.

O: Bit of an unusual IPA, but it works very nicely.

Tons of flavor for a 5.5% beer. Sweet orange up front, but a nice bitterness at the end that works with the over all beer. Their yeast seems to be similar to what I've had from Alchemist. Mouthfeel is a knockout for this beer style.

Another delicious IPA from Aslin. This one has a ton of orange, tangerine & peach aromas & flavors - and lots of nice grapefruit bitterness of the back end. Drinks easy at 5.5% ABV. Hope this one becomes a regular in their rotation!

Can (12/21 release)

Murky dull orange hue topped with a tall, lumpy white head that retains nicely. Aroma is a creamy fruity hop smoothie: orange creamsicle and mango sorbet. Flavor is similarly creamy and fruity, but avoids any heavy sweetness. Tangerine, peach, mango, and spruce. Silky, juicy feel - decently crisp in the finish. Good.

From a can, pours a hazy, bright, slightly milky orange. Nice white head of foam leaves a good bit of lacing.

Smell is intense orange and tangerine, tropical fruitiness, pine and dank. Taste follows. Great drying bitterness at the finish. Feel is full for the ABV, with some sharp carbonation as well. Tons of flavor at a manageable ABV. Excellent.
