I'm going to disagree with Kurmaraja's review. This is every bit as good as a top shelf NEIPA. The fact that it is from Michigan makes that even more impressive. I'm from CT & VT, and I drink a lot of names you know like Alchemist, HF, Tree House and Trillium. As well as names you might not know but are (depending on the batch) even better, like Foley's, Four Quarters, Frost. So I know what good New England IPA tastes like.
My first taste of this beer was in a beer pub last week in Cadillac MI, and I was very impressed. So impressed, I ran out the next morning and grabbed some at the liquor store. The 4 pack is dated 9/11/19, and while I don't know how previous batches turned out, this batch earns the drive across the county if you have to and buy some rating (If you live in MI).
This beer is sweet orange citrus, with nicely balanced malt and bitter. Yes, it's a little on the sweet side, but what's wrong with that? It drinks wonderfully, finishes faultlessly, and slides down tirelessly.

Beautiful soft golden yellow body; pillowy haze; thick and sticky white head, creamy and lasting. Nice citrus and pine resin aroma, a bit muted. Intriguing flavor mix of bread crust, lactose, and citrus; fairly strong hop bitterness rounds things out; grapefruit rind. Heavy body; coarse and tingly on the palate; bold dryness throughout.
This is a meaty, juicy, and bitter new-fangled IPA. The appearance is outstanding. Everything else seems to fall squarely in the niche of a New England IPA although perhaps a little on the ++ side with the overall hop bitterness, but extremely well done overall.

Pours a hazy, opaque dark orange with soft, frothy head that leaves a lot of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell is juicy with notes of peaches, mango, green tea and a bit of sweetness. A lot of hops as well..
Taste is juicy and hoppy, with a solid, but soft bitterness. Rich notes of mango, peaches and some pine are mixed with a creamy sweetness. Very well balanced, no sign of the ABV.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a very nice NE DIPA, rich and creamy with no booziness.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice burnt murky to cloudy paper orange color. Nice little cap of white foamy head. Nice flimsy looking filmy lace wound around the glass.
The aroma has an absolutely lovely embrace of bittersweet hoppy lemon pulpy/pithy bright to grassy hoppiness rolling into some stonefruity crisp character.
The flavor was moderately sweet but gently strolling into a keen bitter to juicy and full yet semi-dry and finalized spirited brightness just rolling into the aftertaste with a tad little of clean malt.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a steady sipping to sessionable quality about it. Expected low carbonation and ABV. And a stellar lemon bright crisp finish.
Overall, what a damn nice New England styled DIPA! Ellison knows what's up, definitely!

This one surprised me; for the abv and hops, this is an absolute bargain. Big body, but not malty or sickly sweet, just a nice balance of juicy citrus and slight bitterness.

Thanks to @superspak for this one. You slapped me stupid in NBS BIF #8.
Slightly burnished golden orange in hue. fluffy white head that hangs for days. Clumpy lacing.
Smells of citrus, melon, and weed. I mean this in a most respectful way. Orange zest, floral lemon, tangerine, and subtle grapefruit pith plow forward. And the weed is always poking in, but more understated melon and peach notes are also noticed.
Flavors of citrus and melon come through with nuances of guava, pineapple, and a pinch of pepper, and maybe mint.
Mouthfeel is medium, a tad fluffy, and moderately carbonated. A tad warm on the finish. Yum.
Overall, more please.

Opaque yellow-tan with a thick, creamy white blanket leaving some spongy buttes of lace
Smell is dank, cannabic and piney but also juicy of orange, lemon and mango with accents of Sweet Tarts.
Taste reminds me of Trillium, and I've never even heard of this brewery until now! Spicy and juicy all at once, with a bit of a bite that's both slightly acidic and bitter as notes of lime, eucalyptus, and woody pine intermingle with mango and orange. It's really complex and all over the place, while all fitting quite well together.
The softly frothy, moderate to full body is creamy to a point before a drying swallow that dries further to a cottony finish. It's a really nice ride.

Canned 1/17/18. Hazy honey-amber color with a tall fluffy, creamy lasting head of 1 finger.
Aroma, though faint, is of crisp clean water, fresh floral notes, and slight citrus, with hints of herb.
Flavor is fresh, juicy orange, with light hints of cilantro. It's delicious.
Feel is clean, crisp, ever so slightly resinous, with a nice alcohol burn on the way down.
Overall, this beer kicks major ass. I will definitely trade for more. On par with some Trillium stuff.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge passion fruit, papaya, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with amazing balance and complexity of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge passion fruit, papaya, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, grassy, citrus peel bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of passion fruit, papaya, peach, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, guava, berry, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon/orange zest, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and pale malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 9%. Overall this is an insane NE DIPA! All around amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/tropical/citrus hops and pale malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Insane levels of juicy/fruity hops with a bit of dank; great malt balance, never overly sweet/heavy feeling for the ABV. The quality level of the NE style is identical to the best ones out there right now. Never overly harsh or drying, with just the perfect amount of bitterness. A highly amazing offering.

Golden orange body, one finger white head, good one finger head with nice retention. Smell is citrus, caramel, touch of resin and pine, a bit of grapefruit. Flavour follows, grapefruit and citrus dominant with a solid touch of caramel, nicely balanced with a resinous bitterness. Medium body, good carbonation, slightly resinous and bitter finish. Good and balanced IPA, more of the west coast variety.
