A hybrid between a Belgian Tripel & Belgian Blonde, this beer has the esters & spices of a Tripel but is light, less phenolic, and sweet, similar to a traditional Blonde.

Notes: 8% ABV Belgian ale. Clear deep gold/brass body beneath a white head that's short lived but leaves OK lacing. The aroma displays sweet malt, sugar, soft fruity esters, and mild floral hops. The flavor follows suit but with more depth including phenols that suggest clove/bubblegum and spice. A firm bitterness balances it, and the sweetish malt dries fairly readily in the finish along with some residual phenolic spiciness. It's medium bodied with a dextrinous side and a smooth, fine-bubbled soft carbonation. A sweetish strong ale - nice!

This is a nice, good, dry, American brewed Belgian style pale ale. This is a little thin and a little boring for the style. I'd like to see what a bit of aging might do. Barrel aging this beer could yield interesting results. As it stands, I would get this again, though maybe not as a regular habit.
