Correcting previous post. Review was written about the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium in Fort Worth, TX.

I've been to Flying Saucer (Fort Worth, TX) three times. It was very easy to find and the first time i was able to park on the street right in front of the place. I have also used the parking garage.

It's pretty much a single large and very open room with high ceilings. There are plenty of tables. I prefer to sit at the bar in front of all of those wonderful taps. The first night i went they were preoccupied with hosting a trivia night, but the staff was attentive and knowledgeable. When i asked for a barleywine my server hooked me up with Sisyphus, which is made by Real Ale Brewing in TX and was wonderful draft.

I can't speak to the quality of the food but i observed others enjoying theirs. The one thing that they did there that i had not seen before was a sort of beer kiosk that you could use to browse for beer selections and print out order chits. Looked like an interesting way to keep tabs on what you've had. They also had a Brewery Night - buy the beer keep the glass gig that was cool. I snagged a FS pint glass for the collection.

meat market for 1st timers to get the night going, great spot 90% of the time typical ftw area wants to be Dallas crowd but will never catch up but is a no BS spot for good cold pint beers that can be endless if you can hang. Def worth checking out if you've never been FOR the beers. Been there many times over the long period of years still in my top 10 ftw places for beers

This place is amazing! They call it a beer emporium and it truly is. They have a huge tap wall, work closely with local breweries and are true beer advocates.

The selection is top notch and they have specials every day featuring a specific beer, style or brewery. They have events all the time where you get to taste limited edition brews. Their staff is very well trained and knowledgeable. The food is high quality and reasonably priced. And the owners are in the place all the time and readily accessible.

They strongly promote trying different styles and brands. And they have a great club where you keep track of the different beers you've had and once you get to 200 you get a plate (aka Saucer) on the wall. And this includes a plate party for you and 10 friends.

Again, this place is amazing. I wish they had one closer to where I live.

This Flying Saucer location is a pretty good bar with a good craft beer selection, just like the Flying Saucer in Dallas. However, I have to say that this one is a bit cozier and better located in downtown Fort Worth. It is an easy stop as you are doing various things downtown. The service is friendly and they know the beer (and the food items). The food is typical bar food but there are enough food choices and the food is above average. What impresses me the most about Flying Saucer in general is the large selection of craft beer, which is why it is one of my favorite bars.

Nicely spotted in downtown Fort Worth, Flying Saucer gave me the opportunity to get a buzz before I headed off to the Stockyard. There's a very large patio which stretches out onto the street, and also a large interior with a long bar. In some ways, it felt like a biergarten. Sticking to the theme is a long tap list with certain days for discounts and events ($3 Texas Pints, Meet the Brewer). A well varied taplist from the somewhat common to the more unusual kegs, with beers like Kulmbacher Eisbock, Founders Rubaeus, Moonlight Desire, Avery Persik, Ninkasi Gound Control, Erdinger Pikantus, Watermelon Dorado. While downtown Fort Worth doesn't have much going on, the Flying Saucer does.

A bit of a mixed bag of an experience but overall good. Though there were plenty of good options, 2 of the 4 beers I ordered while there were out but the beer menu and website had not been updated.Food was on point as expected. The service left something to be desired as our server didn't seem to have any sense of urgency and disappeared for roughly 15 minutes when we were ready for our check. I'll definitely visit agin though I'll likely choose to sit at the bar and call to confirm if specific beers are available as listed on the website.
