The best place in Fort Worth to sit and sample over 200 beers. It is located in the popular Sundance Square so it is a perfect place to stop while visiting the downtwon area.
On weekend afternoons, it is not crowded during lunch and it has a decent atmosphere for kids. On weekend nights, it is very smoky which is the only downfall.
The staff is very helpful and will go out of their way to help out. Although not as knowledge about beer as they could be, I have been very pleased with their recommendatiosn. I agree with the pre K-Fed Britney Spears of an early reviewer.
The beer is plentiful and my wife and I enjoy sampling as much beer as possible. The food is not bad either and the pretzels go perfect with the beer. Highly recommend if you are in the Fort Worth. I look forward to visiting other locations.

spent a very fun night here when visiting my cousin in Fort Worth. we had a blast catching up and drinking beers. large bar with a wide selection. as busy as it was, it could still be a little bit of chore to flag down another pour but slight complaint. fun place to throw back a few!

meat market for 1st timers to get the night going, great spot 90% of the time typical ftw area wants to be Dallas crowd but will never catch up but is a no BS spot for good cold pint beers that can be endless if you can hang. Def worth checking out if you've never been FOR the beers. Been there many times over the long period of years still in my top 10 ftw places for beers

This place is amazing! They call it a beer emporium and it truly is. They have a huge tap wall, work closely with local breweries and are true beer advocates.
The selection is top notch and they have specials every day featuring a specific beer, style or brewery. They have events all the time where you get to taste limited edition brews. Their staff is very well trained and knowledgeable. The food is high quality and reasonably priced. And the owners are in the place all the time and readily accessible.
They strongly promote trying different styles and brands. And they have a great club where you keep track of the different beers you've had and once you get to 200 you get a plate (aka Saucer) on the wall. And this includes a plate party for you and 10 friends.
Again, this place is amazing. I wish they had one closer to where I live.

This Flying Saucer location is a pretty good bar with a good craft beer selection, just like the Flying Saucer in Dallas. However, I have to say that this one is a bit cozier and better located in downtown Fort Worth. It is an easy stop as you are doing various things downtown. The service is friendly and they know the beer (and the food items). The food is typical bar food but there are enough food choices and the food is above average. What impresses me the most about Flying Saucer in general is the large selection of craft beer, which is why it is one of my favorite bars.

Nicely spotted in downtown Fort Worth, Flying Saucer gave me the opportunity to get a buzz before I headed off to the Stockyard. There's a very large patio which stretches out onto the street, and also a large interior with a long bar. In some ways, it felt like a biergarten. Sticking to the theme is a long tap list with certain days for discounts and events ($3 Texas Pints, Meet the Brewer). A well varied taplist from the somewhat common to the more unusual kegs, with beers like Kulmbacher Eisbock, Founders Rubaeus, Moonlight Desire, Avery Persik, Ninkasi Gound Control, Erdinger Pikantus, Watermelon Dorado. While downtown Fort Worth doesn't have much going on, the Flying Saucer does.

A bit of a mixed bag of an experience but overall good. Though there were plenty of good options, 2 of the 4 beers I ordered while there were out but the beer menu and website had not been updated.Food was on point as expected. The service left something to be desired as our server didn't seem to have any sense of urgency and disappeared for roughly 15 minutes when we were ready for our check. I'll definitely visit agin though I'll likely choose to sit at the bar and call to confirm if specific beers are available as listed on the website.
