Canned a month ago.

L -- Pours a hazy golden orange body with two fingers of solid white head produced with moderate pour. Good retention and some lacing
S -- Zesty citrus, fresh pine, lemon sorbet, grainy malts, bit of pineapple
T -- Zippy pine, rindy grapefruit, some cheese rind yeast character
F -- Crisp and trending dry. Fine effervescence
O -- Reminds me of Trillium's Summer St, which is also primarily simcoe-hopped

Hazy yellow body; peach colored; thick, frothy white head; sticky sheets of foam cling to the glass. Strong pineapple and tangerine aroma. Excellent citrus flavor; grapefruit rind; heavy hop bitterness; alcohol presence. Heavy body; thick and silky; very dry mouthfeel.

An intense and powerful single hop beer, delivering heady and mouth-puckering bitterness and dryness with a slight juicy and citric edge.

Pours Hazy orange. Big white bubble head. Although hazy, not true HAZE. More of an opaque with light seeping around the edges. The big bubbles dissipate and leaves soapy lacing. Kind of reminds me of a Hoof Hearted beer.
Nose is grapefruit and pineapple.
Taste follows. Very Simcoe with a little vegetalness. Finishes ultra dry. Old school bitter finish. West coast style. This kind of looks like a hazy but tastes nothing like one.
Pretty decent but not great

Unexpectedly, this is a total haze bomb. There are some floaties beside, but the overall appearance is an opaque, dark peach-tinged orange with excellent head production and retention.

On the nose, this is impressively fresh, juicy, and herbal. Oregano, white pepper, grapefruit, mandarin orange, mango, pineapple - it's all present here, and very surprising for a single hop IPA.

On the palate, this is just as impressive, with juicy notes laced with dank undertones. There's a vegetal bitterness underlying it all, and a honey cracker-white bread malt base, showing slight graininess.

Feels appropriately like a big beer at 8.5% ABV. Just a touch lively, mostly smooth and nearly chewy.

This is damn impressive for a single hop IIPA. The depth of flavor - from an old(ish) school NW-Yakima Valley hop, no less. Hubbard's Cave knows what they're doing with this one.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on August 31, 2018. Canned 8/22/18. Fresh by 10/22/18. Notes of fruit and earth. Flavors include berry, apricot, passion fruit and citrus. Very good.
