Growlers To Go

V: This is a nice little store tucked into a shopping center next to Trader Joe's. On one side, they have a cooler with a nice selection of beer (more on that later). On the back wall there's a big electronic screen with the extensive growler list. This isn't a massive space, but they use the square footage well.

Q: As far as I could tell, the beer here is super fresh - no stale stuff on hand.

S: The service was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about beer. They have a good grasp on the subject here.

S: A very strong selection. They don't have a huge number of bottles, but they make the most of it with beers from Jackie O's, rarities from North Coast (barrel-aged Old Rasputin), and newer breweries like Big Ugly. They have a big (58 taps) growler station, with a wide variety of beers: Triple Crossing, Voodoo, J Wakefield, Alpine, Benchtop, and Ardent. A very good selection.

I have visited this shop a number of times and after leaving today I thought I should finally write a review. The atmosphere was very friendly. Perhaps being a Frday night had some influence. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Tap selections are numerous. Since the location is virtually next store to Trader Joes, I always keep a growler in my car if I am in the mood to bring home some draft beer.

The bottom line is that I have never been disappointed in their beer offerings or the quality of their drafts.
