Intro - Took the drive out from Upstate New York to try this place Monday 1/4/16, I had been looking around to try the Terrapin Tiramisu-Hoo and striking out everywhere trying to acquire some, so while searching beer menus for that beer I came across this joint which had just updated their beer list the previous night (much appreciated). To be honest when I first saw the name I had thought it was one of those "the spot pizza/grill" joints they have scattered across the jersey shore which sometimes have a somewhat decent craft beer selection from time to time, but upon visiting their website I realized it is something totally different. I came on this website looking to see if there was any reviews, and surprisingly so there was not, although the "place" was added 10-16-15 so it had me thinking it was new, that's exciting! I checked out the menu online looked like a nice place to grab a burger and some appetizers, so I waited for the lady to get out of work and we head down to check it out.

Parking - There is some public metered street parking in front of the bar on the street where you can park for up to an hour for $1-$1.50 or so I believe and also around back there is a pretty large municipal parking lot you can pay to park in, which as much as paying to park (especially if its for a long period of time) can be annoying when going to a place to sit and eat and drink I do enjoy knowing that when I go someplace there is definitely going to be easy to find parking , many times I drive to smaller spots in cities for a cold one and feel like I spend more time outside looking for a spot that I have no idea if I am really going to get ticketed or booted in then I spend inside drinking, which can be a buzzkill, so parking is easy and that's a plus .

Service - Walk in the front I am immediately greeted by a very nice gentleman that told me to sit anywhere I would like, picked a high top 4 seater, and he proceeded to tell me about the beers on tap , and the many tap takeover events they had coming up (clown shoes, stone, great lakes, smuttynose) which I appreciate. The waitress was very bubbly and friendly and informed me it was monday so all appetizers are half off. Great information and very friendly and everything came to the table very quickly.

Food - We order the crispy fried calamari and the ultimate philly cheese steak bites for apps, both very tasty and plated to look very appealing. Also ordered a Korean Kobe Beef Burger and No "BS" Burger, I ordered them rare and they came cooked perfectly to my standard, the meat was extremely tasty, nice bun with a pickle on top of each , and mac and cheese, and hoisin glaze , slaw were nice flavorful touches on top of an already great burger. While the food isn't anything crazy fancy gourmet , it is very nice fresh tasting high above average bar food at a very fair price, for the food alone I would return OFTEN, great quality and flavor.

Beer - There was 24 taps, 12 of which were Terrapin which brought me there originally , 2 Kane, a Carton, Great Divide, New Holland, Sixpoint, Victory, 2 or 3 Belgians - St Bernardus Christmas and N'ice Chouffe come to mind... a bottle list on the chalkboard at the bar, Very nice stuff on tap I had mostly Terrapins and had to try the Kane mandarina, everything tasted excellent. Also blue moon was on tap for the normies in your life so you can bring that beer friend that thinks everything is "too hoppy", and cocktail list presented with the menu appeared to have quite a large liquor selection behind the bar as well, so anyone can drink here!

The Space - It's a nice size bar with plenty of tables available for dinner and nice space between them so you don't feel cramped at all, also LOTS of TVS, which is great because I hate when I go to a craft beer bar for the best beers and I have to give up watching the game at the cost of my craft beer needs, Plenty of TVs behind the bar and also all along the wall in the dining area had all the games on so you didn't have to miss ANYTHING, love that. Last but not least on the way out the back I noticed there is a nice back deck which looks like It would be a great place to enjoy a pint in the summer also a huge kicker for me who doesn't love a great craft beer in the sun!
