16.9 oz. bottle

Pours clear straw yellow gold with a creamy white foam head. Smells like apple, pear, grape skin, bready biscuity crackery honey malts, some toasted hay, straw, minty tobacco spice, with floral earthy herbal grass. Tastes like bready biscuity crackery honey malts, some apple, pear, grape skin, lightly toasted hay, straw, minty tobacco spice, with floral earthy herbal grass. Feels medium-light bodied, creamy and crisp with moderate carbonation. Overall a nice Helles lager.

Poured from a recently purchased bottle into a pilsner glass
A - Wonderful clarity, lemon drop colored, contemplative carbonation rises slowly.
S - Warm bread rises from the glass, hint of floral hop, biscuit, goldenrod field.
T - Just as the nose, so well dialed in.
F - Medium in body, delightful palate coating, and long bready finish.
O - Stunner, a delightful offering that I hope to have on hand more often.

Bright yellow orange with a finger of dense white froth. Smells sweet with touches of honey, orange, bread and straw. More honey and fruity sweetness to the tongue. Soft for the most part, light in body and clean all the way through.

I could drink this all day.

L: gives a clear golden color . A small top of head that disolves rapidly leaving some in the middle and in the sides.Decent lacings on the glass .

A: sweet malty aroma. Light malts, some hints of honey and herbal hops.

T&F: much as the aroma the flavour is sweet with malts comfortable in the background, and is balanced pretty good. The hops get noticeable in the finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste, and is good length in the aftertaste.

O: a very good and drinkable beer from a brewery that produce a lot other great beers. I am exited to try more of the beers from Mars brau.

Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is really clean with a nice malty, even slight honey sweetness. Taste is also malty but not too sweet, just well balanced. Slightly hoppy finish. I really like the mouthfeel on this one, light body but smooth and just the right amount of carbonation. This is a really well made, extremely drinkable helles.

this is a fine example of the style, but for me it seems a little simplistic, a little dumbed down compared to some of its german counterparts. it just doesnt have that extra burst of grain flavor in the middle, not dusty and earthy and dry enough, i found it a little generic in that way, not so sturdy in the grain, and a little sweeter than it needs to be. its crystal clear and holds a nice head, looks great in the glass. i get very little hops on the nose, seemingly bittering only there, and probably lower dosed than many other imports. great carbonation to it, and it drinks plenty light even with that hint of confectioners sugar there at the end. smooth and round, not watery at all for how light it is. i like the more rustic interpretations of the style, where i get some of the protein from the hull and a more flavorful lager yeast, but i can see this as having mass appeal among the german lagers among american consumers. tasty and well made, but i would like to try their other stuff here while the season is prime.

L: Pours gold with a slight haze under a 2” persistent, clingy white foam cap with very fine bubbles.
S: Grainy malt nose with some spice, faint vegetal (DMS).
T: Malt forward, not overly sweet, very clean, no fruit, some spice from the hops, bitter accent on the finish.
F: Very crisp, medium body and carbonation.
O: A very solid malt forward lager that is very easy to drink.
