Very good beer. If you like almond joy without the chocolate (I know) than this is for you. But if there was a chocolate note to it, it would be like drinking almond joy

by Gajo74 from New York
On tap at Big Chill Beach Club, Bethany Beach, DE.
Pours a clear amber orange color. A modest head quickly dissipates and leaves a thin ring of lacing.
Fruity aroma, with the coconut adjunct standing out in particular. Bready malt aromas are supported by fruity hops notes of orange, mango and herbal notes of grass.
Light, crisp and clean with a dry bready malt backbone punctuated with an effectively restrained use of coconut adjuncts. Bright flavors evoke notes of citrus peel, kind of Witbier like and redolent of unsweetened orange cream soda. Mild peppery and grassy hops spice along with a touch of bitterness. Dry crisp finish with a moderate carbonation.
This, I assume, purposefully unremarkable blond ale does a good job of serving its purpose as a refreshing and thirst quenching brew, particularly on a summer day.
