First having this excellent brew. On draft and the menu said it was a Winter Ale. Very dark in color but surprising light on taste. At 7.8% ABV, it falls into the range that is my favorite. My only complaint is that usually when you find a great tasting beer, it usually in not there the next time. Wish the taverns and pubs would bring back a great beer that really sells.

Big place with a big bar area and plenty of seating. Large selection with many varied beers on tap. Service is top notch. Beers are all decent to excellent. A nice place to have a few beers.

Located in an industrial area with an odd entrance point, the overall place is huge and has a nice lay out, lots of bar space and seating and a upstairs for private functions, a small outdoor patio, and even a spot for indoor corn-hole. it had an industrial-esque vibe. The bar also faces a glass wall so you can watch the production side as you drink. Went on a Friday night there was a decent crowd but you could also find a seat very easily. Also, the place could benefit from some music or something along those lines.

The beers I tried beers were good to very good, the NEIPA with lactose and the 'wild ale' were my favorites! They had 15-20 beers on tap in a variety of styles, something for everyone. The place had some bar snacks, but could have benefited from providing menus or maybe having a food truck outside as it is in a very isolated spot.

Overall this place was good and I would definitely stop back in if I was in the immediate area and hankering for a beer, but i don't know if I would make a dedicated trip here, there is a lot of other really good breweries in the area that I would prioritize if I was making a day out of brewery hopping

Vibe: Let me begin by saying I never have seen a place of buisness that was situated halfway down an exit ramp, quite odd. To get to double nickle you must take the exit ramp from 73 to Rt. 130, there halfway down you pull into thier very spacious parking lot. The only problem I have with this is for people unfamilar with the area you have to continue down the exit ramp to 130 and loop around to the H.S. to get back onto rt. 73. There is where the small inconvience is rewarded with a great open interior vibe. The outside is a huge industial building, an old gym I am told, with a giant Conical situated on the outside. Two doors lead into a wide open hallway lined with bourbon barrels and corn hole games. Down the end of the hallway is a wide open brewery setting, Im guessing about 60x60 feet minimal. A long L shaped bar easily sits 30-35 while a few tables in the vast open space add more. Along that there seems to be an additional loft that seats parties and about 50-75 more people. The bar and area is very clean, minimal with a huge glass backing showing off the numerous giant conicals. It really has a microbrew feel, just on a much larger scale. A very comfortable place.

Quality: I had 2 ipas and 2 B.A. stouts upon my visit, which you can hardly go wrong. The quality imho was very good to outstanding. The beers I sampled were flavorful and suited well to style. An N.E. style ipa was dense with a lactose haze, the stouts loaded with bourbon flair. From what i heard about thier flagship styles and other beers they are also highly regarded.

Service: I arrived upon opening at 4pm on a Thursday. There were anywhere from 10-12 people there at any given time, not terribly overcrowded. The service was quick and friendly. Sometimes even before I finished a beer there was a request for a refill, so service was definitly on thier toes. A few people seemed like regulars. All in all very good.

Selection: There was an excellent selection of styles available. Among the offerings a stout, B.A. stout, gose, vienna lager, ipa, session ipa, german lager, brown, belgian, and a sour. There are thier 5 standard flagship beers along with 20+ beers on tap including a shandy I believe. I like the variation of styles and making beer accesible to all.

Overall: A great vibe leads to a great start. Quality beers, with a huge selection to choose from. Pennsaukens first brewery will serve this place well.

This review is after my 3rd (and final) visit.

V: Nice taproom area. Quite large. All new brewing equipment (you can see the brewing ops behind the bar). Pretty cool outdoor area too. The two employees who worked there only seem interested in their friends/acquaintances. Pretty much zero personality. Whatever, breweries are for beer not for meeting friends. I get that. Points off for the awful vibe though.

Q: All of the beers I've had on-tap are quite good. Every one of their beers is above average. I really enjoyed their IPA so I decided to take a six pack home ($10). Unfortunately the sixer I received was old so I called the brewery and they were happy to replace it with a fresh six pack. Head brewer Drew admitted the beer I recieved was "a little oxidized". I got my replacement six pack but when I finally got around to trying it, it was oxidized yet again. They really don't seem to care that they are selling subpar product from their taproom.

S: The girl with the black hair (kate?) wasn't very kind at all and a bit dismissive; didn't ask if we wanted more than 1 beer (closed us out after 1). Drew was not very nice either. Didn't seem like he wanted anything to do with anyone. The only saving grace was Brian. He was quite kind and was very knowledgeable about the beers and the beer scene in the area. I have to give them a 1 for pushing old beer out of their taproom though. Inexcusable.

S: good selecton. they had 2 lagers (vienna and pilsner) and a slew of different ales.

O: I don't go to breweries for the people, I come for the beer. The beer that is offered on tap is quite good. Unfortuately I cannot get over the alienating and condescending attitude from some of the staff here. Not worth the hassle, even if they are right down the street.

Cool place. Much bigger than most young breweries in the area. I didn't get to try that much, but what I had was encouraging. The staff was really friendly. I'll be back around.
