Growler shared with a good friend (retired BA).
This was poured into s pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-decent looking glossy orange/blonde color with a thin one finger works foamy head that appeared with a semi-stringy lacing about the glass.
The smell had a quick German sweet maltiness running all the way through and not allowing much citrus sweet hoppiness (guess what- this actually does come through in a nice way).
The taste was semi-sweet with a want of bitterness doing its best to tell me it's a good sweet.
The mouthfeel was a rolling smooth sweetness just rolling over my tongue.
Overall, different for an AIPA, I want to like it, but somehow it just seems really different for an AIPA
