Look: Dark amber with a frothy head from the moment you pop off the bottle cap.

Smell: Citrus, malt, and hops in that order. Fruitier smell than I would expect this dark beer to have.

Taste: Hop bitterness and bready malt at the forefront, without the citrus tang that the smell would lead you to believe.

Feel: Fairly thick, but with a sort of "emptiness" to it. Not unlike Diet Coke.

Overall: Quite a nice beer. I found the fruity smell a bit strange, but nothing to put it off.

12oz bottle, best by 121717
Burnt caramel in color with some reddish hues along with a frothy beige head that fades to a foam. Malty nose with caramel and bread crust, a bit fruity, with some earthy hops. Flavors are quite fruity, malty, and earthy - as an alt should be; with notes of plum, apricot, caramel, bread crust, toasted grain. Medium body, ample carbonation, finishing dry and modestly bitter with earthy hops lingering. Overall, pretty good altbier with some nice fruity and malty flavors, but I doubt I would buy this again.

Only the 2nd. beer that I have ever had from Alaska. Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a bronze/amber color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, light malts. Taste is bready malts, some nuts, a tad bit of sweetness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an easy drinking beer.

This is a descent drinkable beer, it pour a nice dark amber color with a nice finger an a half off white head. The head dissipates rather quickly and there is no lacing left behind. I poured it in a pint glass and drank the beer slowly, so by the end it had warmed up a bit. This is worth a try

Dark red brown. Smells of toasted malts, nuts. Taste follows with rich malty, caramel taste. Creamy mouthfeel. I'm not familiar with this style but I like this beer!

Good amber. Solid to drink a few but loses its luster the more you have

Clear, reddish beer with a slightly tan head. The beer smells like caramel and apples with a floral hoppiness. The taste is not as sweet as the smell and has some fruitiness and floral components. There is some apple and caramel flavors and a mild bitterness. Not a bad beer at all.
