Another two dollar find at Vintage Estate.
Pours a very deep orange color with a 1/2 inch of froth that seems to fizz out rather quickly. Smell is nice tons of coriander and spices but not very yeasty. taste is decent enough fruity and spiced with some orange and lemon peel/ Hay notes. Easy to drink at 5% not very watery.
Not that great to me it lacks any body for the style. Even a smidge less balanced than Shock Top.

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass

A: Pours a semi-hazy straw color with a white head, no retention, lots of carbonation streaming off the bottom, looks thin.

A: Subtle aromas of hay, grass, citrus, coriander and spice, not much going on here.

T: Subtle notes of lemon citrus rind, coriander, spice, light touch of bitterness, finish has lemon peel.

M: Light bodied with a good amount of carbonation.

O: Not sure if this really should be a witbier because it lacks that Belgian yeast characteristics, very easy to drink, light bodied, and light bitterness.

Pours an amber, near golden colour with slight coriander aroma, nothing too strong.

This is an alright beer, with a little bit of spice and slight pleasently bitter aftertaste. The promised coriander taste was negligible, and overall I found the flavour rather bland, despite the spice. It's refreshing served chilled but lacks depth and is otherwise quite average.

Not bad, but there's a lot better out there.

It sorta has a white hazy look in the amber color of the beer, It smells of a lot of spices like most sam adams beers have. The taste is also reminiscent of certain sam adams beers, I could drink this beer all night.

I poured this from a bottle into a clear teardrop glass. It pours a dark golden with with a white head. Drinkable, but not a great beer. I don't really taste malt or hops, just coriander. Not my thing. The only beer by this brewing company that I haven't liked.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly hazed, copper-gold coloring with a ton of carbonation bubbling feeding a foamy, low profile, off-white head. Aromas of subtle coriander, orange rind, lemon zest, banana, and nutmeg. Flavors are light, sweet forward notes of banana, with subtle spice highlights of clove, coriander, and nutmeg. Decent flavors and balance, but muted. The body is light, effervesced to a crisp point, which really dulls the aftertaste, which comes out a subtle banana bread character. The finish is crisp and bubbly, with a subtle sweet linger. Easy drinker, but there are better Wits out there.
