Pours a copper color with a foamy white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma is floral notes and malts. Taste is surprisingly good, slightly tangy from the jalapenos but none of the hoppy bitterness associated with an IPA. Smooth and creamy.

Poured from 1LT glass beer into a glass mug:
LOOK: Brown with a great beer head about 2inch.
SMELL: Jalapeno
TASTE: Jalapeno with hops
FEEL: Great medium beer
OVERALL: This beer surprised me normally most jalapeno beer taste flat and artificial. Highly recommended good job Alaskan brewery.

Poured golden brown and perfectly clear with a nice head that slowly went down to a cap with some sticky lace.
The nose is surprisingly malty, with some floral hops. The floral comes out more in the taste, as does a touch of peppers. The jalapeno is present but weak, yet still nice.
Overall it's a really nice IPA and I'd like another.

Looks malty and rich. Smells malty rich. I taste a very nice malty beer and just hints of Jalapeno. Smooth on the mouthfeel and overall a worthy IPA to try. BB 051323
