A: A medium golden beer with good clarity. The bottle has a date of "B082813" which I assume means it's best buy date is ten days from now.
S: a medium-strong citrus hops aroma with a bit of the Simcoe character. There is a light malt sweetness.
T: A Strong hops bitterness with a medium citrus hops flavor. Light malt flavor and very little malt sweetness.The balance is fairly bitter. The finish is dry with an aftertaste of citrus bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with a medium-strong level of carbonation.
O: An APA with good hops flavor and aroma but this bottle is getting toward the end of the shelf life. I'd love to get a fresh bottle and think it would show better, but as is it's a pretty good pale ale.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 5.3 % abv.
Appearance: The body has a nice orange amber color with great clarity. It has a small slightly off white head that slowly settles. As it settles it makes some nice lacing on the glass.
Smell: The aroma has citrusy grapefruit like hops over light bready sweetness. As I drink I notice some very light peach and orange peel notes as well.
Taste / Palate: It has the good drinkable medium body with a nice balance of hops and malt. The edge favors hops and it has nice citrusy notes running through out. The base is a sweet bready and lightly caramelized maltiness.

Appearance: Pours a bright copper golden orange with a lot of rising bubbles. Huge five finger off white head with good retention. Leaves a lot of lacing clinging to the glass.
Smell: A bright citrus hop forward aroma with a solid biscuity malt backing. Citrus hops upfront with good hints of orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, and lemon. Some floral and earthy hop hints as well as some pine spice and grass. Solid bready malt backing with hints of biscuit, cracker, caramel, and yeast. A pretty solid West Coast style aroma.
Taste: Like it smells, a bright hop forward pale ale taste with a good taste of citrus and biscuit. Citrus hops with notes of juicy orange, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, and mango. Earthy hop notes of grass and pine. Also some floral hop notes. Soft bready malt presence with a taste of biscuit, grains, crackers, caramel, and yeast. A pretty solid well balanced APA taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Nicely creamy, juicy, and drying.
Overall: A pretty solid take on the West Coast style American Pale Ale. Good citrus taste with a solid biscuit malt backing.
