12 oz bottle served fresh and cold (but no date on the bottle to confirm the former).

Hop otherwise is a classic copper hue with great clarity and thick white head. It settles slowly leaving a rocky cap and some nice spotty lacing.

Aroma is pleasantly hoppy and fresh with grapefruit-centered citrus with a bit of spice.

Flavor is sweet up front with honey and caramel. The hops kick in the middle but never deliver a huge hit of bitterness. It's more hop flavor including orange zest and kafir lime. It finishes a bit dry but overall balanced.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. It has good balance of sweet and bitter for a double IPA.

Overall a really solid example of the style but a little on the safe side for a real hop head

Bottle > Tulip Pint
A - Cloudy orange amber with a finger of foamy white head, little lacing.
S - Aroma is kinda nice, orange, citrus zest, bready malt, pine.
T - Bread malt forms the base, not as much hop potency as I'd like in a double IPA, though the alcohol sneaks up on you thats for sure, its got all your basic citrus hop profiles, and a sweet finish.
M - Chewy but goes down smooth.
O - Decent but nothing great, glad to have tried it.

Pours clear amber with a one finger white head. The head has very good retention, and leaves a nice lace. the aroma has grapefruit, oranges, floral hops, and caramel malt.

Has a nice combination of sweetness and bitterness with grapefruit, oranges, floral hops, caramel malt, and pineapple. Very nicely balanced.

Medium bodied with modest carbonation. Light citrus aftertaste. The alcohol is very well disguised. Finishes somewhat dry. A very well made beer, well worth trying.
