Had this at Eclipse 2016 party I believe. Love me some apricot, love me some Beachwood, this should be good shit. Pours kind of an apricot color, that mix of goldenrod and orange. Small white head 1/4". Aroma pops apricot and pretty clean, not noticing brett or oak on the nose, just a fruit blast and its quite nice smelling.
Taste, its pretty much like a less acidic Rare Barrel Map of the Moon/Sun, Cascade Apricot or Bruery Filmishmish (when it ages, very comparable when fresh). You get excellent amounts of apricot, a big bounty of sourness, a slight amount of oak, a clean finish. Its simplicity is its grace. Nothing "sweet" about it, this is unsweetened apricot in all its glory. While it is very sour, its acidity is much more restrained. Good price on these, usually between $16-20. I imagine I will always want one of these in the cellar, summer, a pool and this beer were made for each other.

The beer pours out a hazy golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head-------------- the aromas are of sour apricot, funk and grass----------------- the flavors are sour, sour, sour!!!!! With some funk and sour apricot candy, the beer has a full mouthfeel with a dry oaky finish------------- overall this beer was delicious, very sour and heavy on the apricot--

The fruit taste on this one is up front and in-your-face. I tasted this against another beer with apricot and the difference was surprising. What this beer lacks in complexity, it makes up for in straight up fruitiness. It will be interesting to see how this one ages; I would think that the fruitiness will help balance this beer as the complexity of the base beer comes through.

750 ml corked and caged bottle, poured into a wine glass.
L: Hazy golden murky body with hints of amber. One finger white head that quickly becomes a crown around the outer ring of the glass.
S: Sweet honey, nectar, apricot, honeydew, sour and funky scents come through after a swirl. Barnyard, hay, horse blanket. Clean and bright, but super funky as well.
T: Wow! Tons of apricot flavor with a tangy and sharp sourness, with hay and barnyard funk to boot. Sweet apricot buttressed by melon kicks of the party with tangy citrusy sourness in the middle, hints of lime and some minerality then it finishes funky, dry, and a bit barnyard like, with some lingering apricot sweetness at the end as well. Sourness is quite restrained compared to some of the more notable belgian examples of the style.
M: Light, tangy, low end of carbonation for the style. Smooth and fruity. Quite approachable for the style, but still complex and sour enough for a true lambic lover.
O: Really nice. A very enjoyable sour indeed. Not super sour, great fruit flavors, wonderful balance between fruit, funk, and brett.
