4oz sample at the brewery : Deep hazy golden color with good activity. Flavors of clove, coriander, sweet grains, lemon, caramel, apples, Belgian yeast, and floral hops. Slick and lightly smooth medium to full body with a moderate crisp. Medium to strong strength finish. Decent freshness but lacks a bit of carbonation. Slightly boozy and warming. Decent attenuation having an overly strong maillard effect. Overall good quality craft.

L- Pours a hazy orange topped by a 1/2 finger creamy white head with fairly decent retention.
S- A nice sweet, fruity yeast aroma. Peach seems to stick out most to me.
T- Light malts, fruity yeast. Slight tang on the finish. Not as yeast-y tasting as most Tripels (not a particularly bad thing in my opinion).
F- Lighter body than I expected: Nearing Medium body but pretty light. Low-Moderate carbonation that has a nice gentle feel.
O- Not a "traditional" Tripel, but a damn good beer. I don't drink Tripels (or any other Belgian Ale) that often because I'm not a huge fan of yeasty beers but this one hit the spot for me. Just enough yeast action to give the brew a nice light fruitiness but not enough to become overpowering. Good stuff!
