Quiet environment, beer atmosphere. Beers that do not deceive. Very good staff deal. Many shooters but lacked the type of beer that I like most. It is very tired that everyone likes IPA beers. The place we liked a lot. We will repeat

Sort of has a hole-in-the-wall vibe to it despite not actually being THAT small. They have about 15 to 20 beers on tap, most of which are their own and typically have a couple rare/BA beers too. They have a small food menu thats basically just tapas but we partook in the hummus plate and werent disappointed.

Friendly and accommodating staff and super clean inside.

Been here twice in a week where I was staying at Barcelona.

This Mikkeller bar was the first I got into. Beers on tap are mostly Mikkeller's or Warpigs' but it doesn't matter if the options are great. And they were. Had amazing things on tap. Also had stuff from Mikkeller San Diego that they had on can. I also had dinner here once and food was great to go with the food. Simply put, one of the best beer bars I've ever been to.

Visited here early evening on a Friday & it was surprisingly quite, only 3 other tables in the place. The selection was as I've come to expect from various Mikkeller bars, every Danish heavy with about 75% of the taps featuring their own beers & most of the rest from other Danish breweries. There was 2 local offerings on-tap when I went so I opted for one of them & it was excellent at least.

Price wise, the beers were definitely on the high side but they did at least come in cheaper than prices at their Copenhagen bars but when compared to similar craft beer bars in Barcelona it was too much.

As for the vibe, it was quiet & the music in the background was indie/alt rock as I recall but to be honest it was exactly like other Mikkeller bars I've visited - lacking in atmosphere really.

Mikkeller Bar Barcelona is a cute and charming, smallish place with an interesting look that is kind of like IKEA meets Colonial America. The walls are white, and the floor's a Prussian blue epoxy, but it's the tables and chairs that give it the true character. Payne's grey topped tables sport beechwood legs and matching stools, as well as grey, high-backed semi-Windsor chairs. On each table sits a brass candlestick holder.

The bar area, however, is more modern, and a touch "New York" in its design with shiny black subway tiles making up the back bar. There are no chairs or stools, like many places in Europe, and you simply go up to the bar to order or grab your beer and stand there.

There are 24 taps, of which 19 are from Mikkeller, followed by Brewski, Warpigs, Sesma, and Boon.

As might be expected in Spain, the food is tapas:
olives 2,80 €
sausage 6,70 €
Bunyols de Bacalla 9,60 € (fried cod balls, traditional and probably worth it)
stout-marinated sirloin 15,20 €
gratinated artichokes 7,20 €
Birramisú (w/ stout syrup) 4,50 €

If you're in the area it's a must - just because it's Mikkeller! But also because if you take a look at the map it's not really that far from a bunch of other beer destinations.
