Pitch black liquid finger-thick brown compact foam that leaves little lacing.
Porter tart scent. Blackcurrant, some sweetness. Hard to get the smells out of a filled shaker glass.
Smooth taste, semisweet. Roasted notes and some coffee. Growing sweetness and pure Danish licorice. Light to medium body. Tangy sweet licorice in the finish at the same time is light in the body and heavy in the flavors. Liquorice Allsorts in the roasted finish.
Lightly carbonated, few small persistent bubbles. Soft liquid.
Great flavors and good body intensity, but it still feels that there are a little hole in the richness which probably depends on the alcohol content. Distinct licorice flavor and low bitterness.
