I like this one, more of an amber I would say than a brown, as the color and malt bill indicate to me. I like the spice profile here, and I think it fits in well with the season when you need a break from the pumpkin beers. the pours a dark copper color with an inch of slowly dying off white head. I smell cinnamon for sure, and maybe a touch of toasted bread. the flavor has quite a bit of sweetness on the back end, but is also hopped rather aggressively compared to other spice beers ive encountered. the pungent bitterness offsets some of the vanilla sweetness and red malt caramel notes from the grain and spice. very brightly carbonated and oddly dry in the finish, I like the feel of this quite a bit. definitely an underrated brew on here, I think is fills a nice niche in the fall beer spectrum.

Poured half a finger of head on a clear, copper colored body.
The aroma is lemon with some light Autumn spice. Not bad.
The taste is initially okay; nutty and malty. Then it quickly turns to the "harvest spice" which sent the rest of the structure head over heels down the hill into the lake.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Not enjoyable. Disjointed and lost.

A: Pours a dark amber color, clear with a modest head but has some decent lacing.

S: Aroma of malt, caramel, spices and bit of fruit.

T: Taste is malty with caramel sweetness, spices and bit of fruit in the background.

F: Mild bitterness and a slightly sticky finish. Fairly light body, smooth but doesn’t have that bit of pop I like in a seasonal Harvest Ale.

O: Nice beer but I expecting a bit more.
