From earlier tasting:
Poured into a pint, and it's a hazy golden with a thick foamy white head that settles while lacing stays put fairly well. 4.25
I don't smell much, but what I do pick up is light and zesty, lemon/ orange rind. Refreshing. 4
Tastes like fresh and robust hopped pilsner, just as its label advertises. The lemon really comes through, lemongrass. Not a fan of dominating lemongrass, but other hop freshness lurks in there, and it never gets bitter because the malts are just so darn sweet, in a cereal grain kind of way. Well rounded. Drinks well despite the higher abv. Enjoyed! 4, 4 and 4.25

A: Light yellow. Very clear. A layer if sediment on the bottom I tried to keep in the bottle. Well carbonated. Low head, but good retention for what it had. Whitish foam.
S: Sweetness of mild yeast and much alcohol. Mild wheat smell with a steel and aluminum metallic nose.
T: My first impression was an unexplained cherry aftertaste. It has an odd sweet aftertaste that might be better described as rich leather or sweet fermented tobacco, but in a very mild subtly sweet way and not sour or bitter. Maybe best described as a white balsamic. The flavor starts off semi plain and opens with mild cedar notes and medium hops with tree sap and green grass. Finishes fairly dry. With minor grassy oily finish.
M: Somewhat viscous, likely from the higher alcohol. Aftertaste is long and richly developed and concentrated. Finishes medium dry and long.
I: Never had anything like this before. I think it's over the top with alcohol, which washes out some of the nice hoppy flavors. I like it but could really do with dropping it down to a 7% abv.

Poured into an 11 oz version of an English pint. Pours a clear golden with a finger length rich, white head that dissipates into a ring that leaves light lacing. Had aromas of grapefruit, orange, and light sugary cereal. Taste is grainy with a lot of the citrus all the way through that came on the nose. For 8%, this drinks very easily, but the aftertaste is a bit abrupt.
Overall: I've seen this advertised as both an IPL and an Imperial Pilsner. To me, an IPL is a more appropriate way of advertising it, but I understand it being called an Imperial Pilsner as well. I like that Bridgeport decided to make a lager with the wet hops, and I really enjoyed this beer.

Pours a blonde straw color, almost clear but slight haze. Thin white head dissipates rather quickly leaving some light lacing. Smells mainly floral with subtle spice and biscuit. Malty start with a slightly spicy bitterness, followed by strong alcohol finish that stays on the palate. Fairly creamy body. Pretty good. The alcohol bite at the end is a little drawback for me, doesn't seem to fit. Still enjoyable, most of the pilsner characteristics are there.

Grabbed one of these on impulse off the shelf...
Fairly nice nose to this.... lightly toasted pilsner malts with a swift punch of noble hops... nothing overpowering... at 8%, I might expect a little booze but I don't get any... pretty straightforward...
The malts come off way too sweet right up front before being overrun by the bitter noble hops used... I think the hops are supposed to be the main players here but they seem to take a back seat to the sweetness of the malts... at least early on in the beer... im not getting much in the way of booze here either but I sure can feel it... warms the chest and stomach... the malt bill is just too big here... I know its a double but this is more strong ale than anything...
One and done for me... not what I had in mind at all and the hops don't really pop like they should in the style

Picked up tonight at the COOP... Poured into my slim tulip... polished golden brew... decent white head with good lacing.
Nose is grainy pilsner malt punctuated by a grassy hoppiness.. Seems slightly light for an Imperial Pilsner.
Flavor again highlights the two big ingredients.. pils malt and grassy/lemony fresh hops.. Clean with no yeasty notes to speak of.
Body is light side of medium.. good carbonation.. Overall, I would say nicely done. I think Bridgeport hit the nail on the head with this one.
