Not a full review, simply a log of tasting notes from a 2 oz sample served on tap in a tasting glass. The peach barrel dominates this beer - the most dominant component is a saccharine, overly sweet peach wine note, which gives way to a mediocre wheat beer/lager base. Thoroughly underwhelming - not a beer I'd order a full glass of.

Tried this on draft today. This beer tastes like flavored cough syrup. Avoid at all costs.

12oz bottle poured into a snifter

A- pours a clear golden color with a one-finger foamy head that reduces to leave nothing behind

S- plenty of peach on the nose, along with toasted wheat & oak, peach stands out the most

T- peach dominates on flavor up front, but comes across a bit artificial. Mid-palate brings out toasted wheat and a flavor similar to fruity pebbles cereal. The finish gives a hint of oaky bourbon, lingers of more peach

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into the finish

O- an interesting beer, but all over the place. An imperial wheat beer aged in bourbon barrels is certainly unchartered territory

Don’t know why the reviews are so negative.
I’ll be honest — I’m not a beer drinker (this is my 1st review EVER). But I LOVE bourbon & this tastes a lot like drinking a good KY bourbon neat. Strong barrel flavor. Fruity nose is quite musky.
Don’t know about beer but love this wheat “ale.”

With the different Kentucky brews I have had from them I was expecting more. Smell was nice it had more of an apricot aroma than peach. Feel is thin but smooth, taste wasnt bad it has a fresh and fruity front, peach and apricot with a slight touch of burbon in the finish. All in all not bad but leaves you wanting more.

One of my favorite summer beers of all time. I love that it is not a cider but still subtly sweet. It is a little heavy, so I can only enjoy 1 or 2 during one sitting. It has notes of brown sugar and peach, but like I said NOT the overboard sweetness of a cider. Perfect combo!

Pours a crystal clear yellow with a huge pillow of a white head that lingers and leaves just a bit of lacing. Aroma is peach fuzz and booze. Flavor is not much more than the nose, but it's fabulous. A beer with peach in the name should taste peachy and this does. Feel is crisp and well carbonated. Great beer from a brewery that until this offering really has not impressed me.
