My long search for a cream ale that actually tastes good has come to an awesome end...
I really loved the look of this brew, a golden brown with lighter gradients throughout, a nice head - frothy - but no staying power. The smell was about the most perfect blend of sweet, dark roasted coffee, cream ale, and the light scent of bourbon. Mouthfeel was also light on carbonation, exactly like I want it, and the flavor was rich and complex but just like the scent - dark roasted coffee, truly tasty cream ale, and a touch of bourbon so as not to overpower anything. This will be my go-to cream ale - no questions asked.

12 ounce bottle, 019 03-19 printed on the bottle (guessing this was bottled on March 19, 2019?). Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear amber color with about an inch off-white head that stayed around a little while. There's also a decent amount of lacing. I like the sweet aroma a lot, the brew smells like vanilla, cream, coffee, caramel, grainy malt and a bit of oak. Have to say the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, mostly sweet and grainy but with the addition of some nutty and toffee flavors. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and really easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this a lot, if you like sweet/maltier tasting brews then this is for you! Thanks to my buddy Denis for this bottle!

12 oz bottle served in a Belgian snifter.
Excellent aroma and flavor, with a nice malty cream ale complemented by light coffee and relatively subtle bourbon barrel aging. Decent balance excepting the rather strong vanilla component.
Overall: probably my current favorite offering from this brewery.

Quite a unique brew. The taste is coffee and toffee, which is cool, but I’m not sure how easy it’d be to pair with food. Dessert I guess! The body is quite thin, like you’d expect from a cream ale. It goes down very easy. I wish it were a little fuller. Compared to the flagship KBB ale, this one is a lot easier to approach, but not as rewarding. I first enjoyed this as a sample on the brewery tour at Alltech. Its surprising taste and color made it stand out. Knowing that it’d not be available up in northwest OH, we bought a sixer. Check it out.

Crystal clear amber body, with slow moving bubbles that give it an awkward liveliness. Very good head production, retention, and lacing.
Strong coffee on the nose, along with a sweet malt base yielding notes of honey, vanilla, cream, and pale grains.
Drops off on the palate. The coffee, cream ale, and barrel don't blend quite right. There's a very nice creamy coffee finish on the back third, and that really saves the beer, but you have to wade through a dry, grainy, awkwardly coffee-forward first two thirds to get there. As typical from Alltech, the bourbon is almost nonexistent, lending an awkward mash and barrel note without any of the payoff.
Lively and a touch sticky. Decent body for the low ABV.
Better than a macro AAL, with more flavor, but just barely. Not a repeat purchase.

12oz bottled 4/1/19 (1 month ago) poured into an Irish coffee mug at fridge temp 5.5% ABV. The beer pours bright light amber in color with a fizzy off white head. The head quickly recedes to an island of tiny bubbles and thin ring. No lacing. The aroma is actually really nice with toffee and coffee both represented. The taste is pleasant with more toffee, mild coffee and hints of oak. The middle is barely sweet and the finish offers a touch of bitterness and an oaky dryness. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation. Overall, very good cream ale. I'm not normally a fan of light colored coffee beers, but this is well done.

Pours pretty dark for a cream ale. Lots of bubbles that dissipate quickly when you swirl the glass. Smell & taste reminds me of my go-to order at Graeter's Ice Cream - a cookies & cream shake with espresso syrup added, so it hits the nostalgia button pretty hard. Some earthy hop aroma too. Feel is light & silky. Great offering by Alltech in a 6pack - little bummed that I only grabbed a single.

As memories of coffeehouse latte comes to mind with the very first sip, the whimsy of the coffeehouse thoughts, feelings and emotions rising from the depths of our senses. But with Kentucky Ale folks at the helm, the beer jolts us back into the ale side of taste with their bourbon barrels, vanilla and overall pub ale flavor.
Bright gold and racingly carbonated, the frothy ale billows onto the nose with a cloud of coffee, caramel and cream. One touch of the lip and the tastebuds are enlivened by all things cappuccino and cream soda.
Moderate on complexity, the ale rests on sweet caramel, vanilla and coffee laurels. As the abundance of vanilla cream reach into the taste of pulled candy and macaroon, the coffee adds a depth of taste and a robust balance that elevates its taste to a affogato character in its finish.
Medium bodied and roasty sweet from start to finish, any hop character lurks shyly in the recesses of taste and allows the spice of bourbon, bean and oak to pull the weight in a medium sweet balance. Lingering sweet like soda, a hint of spice seems coffee derived with the slim simmer of whisky on the throat. Though not an overly provocative beer, its latte character is quite provocative
