It is going to take some time (clearly), but inroads are being made as far as eradicating the Bottle Backlog here at Chez Woody are concerned. I am now setting my sights on the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
From the bottle: "A full-flavored Kolsch style ale true to form of the German beer style originating in Cologne".
A Pop! of the cap, a semi-gentle pour & I was off & running. An in-glass swirl raised a finger of foamy, bone-white head with modest retention. Color was Straw-Yellow (SRM = > 2, < 4) with NE-quality clarity. Nose was malty sweet, very bready and slightly grassy. Mmmm. Mouthfeel was medium, but very soft and caressing on the tongue. Taste was bready, grassy and just slightly tart, maybe grape-ish, maybe sour corn, but either way, fairly unobtrusive. Finish was semi-dry, more bready than grassy and again with just a slight tickle of tart/sourness. Given its low ABV, if they would begin CANning this, I would happily put a bunch into a cooler on a hot, humid summer's day.

Poured from tap into shaker pint, minimal head recedes to a pool, minimal lacing. Light golden in the glass, crystal clear. Smells of biscuit, slight corn funk and grassy hops. Taste is crisp, followed by a little corn sweetness, and a nice semi bitter dry finish. This isn't a bad beer, could pound these all day.
