A barrel-aged ale brewed with Kentucky-sourced pumpkin, richly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. This robust, limited-release seasonal brew makes for a flavorful sipping beer to slowly warm up with as the weather cools.

Appearance: Clear copper body, large off white head, good lacing.
Aroma: Seasonal spices mimic pumpkin. Pleasing notes of wood and vanilla from the barrels.
Taste: Earthy malts support the spiciness. Hops not a major factor but do add a bit of balance. Nice kick in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Decently carbonated, medium-to-full bodied.
Overall: A good way to try something different in a pumpkin ale.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, amber color with burgundy highlights and a small, white head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of bourbon, oak, vanilla and pumpkin. Sweet bourbon, vanilla, pumpkin and some toffee taste.

Clear, honey colored body; dense, lively carbonation; thick, white head, frothy and long-lasting. Very pleasant seasonal aroma; pumpkin, allspice, cinnamon. The taste is very bourbon-forward; pumpkin and spice flavors in the background; a bit phenolic overall. Medium-heavy body; thick and sticky.

A decent enough pumpkin ale going just a bit over the edge with the barrel aging.

The best pumpkin ale out there. Pours a beautiful orange with a fluffy white head as well as a fantastic fall/late autumn spiced mellow aroma. Taste is perfection, being heavy on the pumpkin with a very strong amber ale base with plenty of malt. Barrel aging is easy to taste and adds some vanilla and oak. Not very sweet at all while being surprisingly crisp and light in the mouth. I got a 4pk and could've drank all 4 easily despite the 10%. It's worth the price and is better than 99% of pumpkin beers, and I like pumpkin beers.

Pours a clear/filtered burnt orange with lingering white head. Aroma is complex and powerful; heavy bourbon and vanilla notes, with hint of fresh pumpkin. Flavor closely follows, boozy and warming, smooth and balanced.

Pours clear amber. Nice thin foam.
Amazing smell of spices and pumpkin but not as robust as others.
Really great taste. Not sweet. Well balanced. Flavor thins out quite quickly though for the finish.
Overall worth a try. 10% will leave you out after a few. Slip slowly and enjoy

Pours a clear amber. Thin foam. Pumpkin aroma. Pumpkin and cinnamon body with a light caramel finish. Not too sweet. Well balanced. Can't taste the alcohol. Surprisingly good.

Drinking in a 12 oz snifter, poured out of a 12 oz bottle.
Pours a bright clear orange with little head - but what do you expect for a pumpkin beer.
Slight pumpkin smell, but not a lot.
Taste is overwhelmingly pumpkin with background of amber ale.
No hint of barrel aging which I expected from this vendor.

Happy Halloween! No better way to celebrate than with a new Pumpkin Beer after work. That being said, I don’t have the highest hopes for this one given the reputation of the brewery, but who knows, maybe they’ll surprise me. I doubt it, but let’s just jump in headfirst and see what’s up

Pours a mostly clear orange gold with 3 fingers of soapy light beige head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing

The nose is definitely spice driven, but not to a ridiculous degree like others. I’m picking up on aromas of earthy cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, dark bread, baked pumpkin, light toffee, and oaky bourbon. Actually quite nice

It feels thinner and a bit boozy in taste, but it’s still pretty decent. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting nutmeg, pie crust, earthy bourbon, pumpkin meat, caramel, and light cinnamon. The swallow brings notes of earthy cinnamon, pumpkin meat, dark bread, sweet vanilla, light oak, and earthy bourbon

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes slightly sticky and boozy but not too much

Well it’s not great, but it’s still better than I was expecting going in. Still happy to have tried it

Pours a clear pumpkin colored, or light copper, brew with a one finger head. The head leaves little on the glass. Aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin and a hint of nutmeg. Taste is light with pumpkin and nutmeg the predominant profiles. There is bitterness and little, if any, bourbon character here. All in all, a typical pumpkin beer.

Translucent amber with a very thin white head. Smells like bourbon on the rocks. Flavor is bourbon-forward but smooth with kind of a pumpkin backbone and a slightly sweet aftertaste. Spices are subtle. Medium bodied. Goes down well.
