Look: Fairly clear deep orange to amber in color with a dense, off-white head that has good retention and is leaving good lacing
Aroma: Floral hops, light citrus notes (mainly lemon), warm bread, a little grassiness, and some toffee
Taste: Bready malts in tandem with a huge floral bouquet hit hard out of the gate, followed by citrusy notes along with some grass and nice toffee and melanoidin flavors. Finishes very clean and crisp
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, medium carbonation, very clean throughout, and quite crisp on the finish as well
Overall: This is a winner. I really enjoyed this last year and was pumped to hear they were making it again, plus it won an award which I didn’t realize but understand completely. A great showcase of fresh Hallertauer in an already delicious and well-made Oktoberfest lager. A fun change-of-pace fresh hop beer and in my opinion, an outstanding beer on its own as well. Can, 2020 release.

A mildly hazy amber with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is soft and bready with a definite fresh hop accent to the lemon and minty earth hops. The fresh hops amplify these notes without making the beer hoppier in a way that's quite unique. Soft bread and mild caramel are present. The palate opens with a mild bitterness, earthy and mildly minty, with a light fresh hop character. There's a soft rounded Character to the palate, a blend of bread, caramel, a little toffee and a restrained sweetness. Compared to the Bobtoberfest that I'm pairing this off against, it holds its own - less bitter, a little sweeter, but still well executed. There's a chewy feel to the palate, a little fuller than ideal. Carbonation is soft and creamy, amplifying the softness of the palate. The bready sweetness is also a little simpler than the Bobtoberfest. Drying, lingering sweetness on the finish, this is quite excellent.

This is the real deal.

Pumpkin orange with a tad more clarity than straight up gourd juice. Nice white foam leaves some spotty lacing.

Bready grain, a dash of honey and caramel, and some dried grass. What else could you ask for?

All the above mentioned, just amplified in the flavor while still maintaining delicacy.

Light and crisp thanks to a lively carbonation. Perfect balance, but does lack what could be a welcomed richness.

A superb American version of the annual classic style. A more sessionable version which is turning out to be a great Concept on this uneventful weekend day.
