Two-finger head with some lasting power. It recedes slowly leaving a dome. Very nice ring lacing throughout the tasting. Mild haze to the golden color.
I smell the weedy green smell immediately upon opening the can. There's a sweeter berry-like nose in the background. Lightly spicy.
The malt is dryer than the smell suggests and the hop bitterness is quite harsh. The carbonation is muted but the body is neutral for the style. The finish is similar to sucking on a hop pellet--straight up bitter, leaving an incredibly long aftertaste. Ultimately, I would put this beer into the extreme category based on the taste alone.

Had a single draft at Idletyme Brewery in Stowe, Vermont for seven dollars and fifty cents. My third brew from these guys. This was very good, would get again.

Hazy gold, good head and lacing. Subtle citrus pith and grapefruit aroma. Flavor is surprisingly bitter and astringent, but finishes with some nice citrus flavors. Mouthfeel is medium and fairly crisp. Overall a pretty underwhelming beer.

16 oz can. Pours golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head. Aroma is of citrusy hops, bready malt and tropical fruit. Body is full and crisp. Floral, citrusy hops dominate the palate with bready malt and tropical fruit in the background. Finish is long and dry. Delicious brew.

Alewife and I stopped by the Brewery on 20MAY19 for a quick round. I got a 13oz pour of this for $7.50.
Served in a small snifter, it was a bright golden, lightly hazy brew. Has a creamy, off-white head with excellent stick on the glass. Aroma was quite fruity, with citrus, lemon peel and grapefruit coming forth. Body was a decent medium, with a fairly smooth feel.
Flavor was also fruity, with melon, light pineapple, grapefruit, and lemon peel. Had plenty of citrus but leaned more to the puckery side than the sweet. Decent but not mind-blowing. Prosit!!

Pours a three-finger cream head that fades very slowly leaving a decent lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit nose and flavor is grapefruit with hints of caramel malt. $3.50 for a 16oz can from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

First offering from a tourist trap brewery. I've lived in Vermont long enough to know what the town of Stowe is about.
Par dipa. Some citrus sugar taste with a strong sticky after taste. Towards the end of the beer the bitter starts to stand too far forward.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy burnt orange color with almost no head. Fair amount of lacing. Aromas of pine, grapefruit and light tropical fruit notes. The taste is sweet grapefruit and pineapple. Tangerine and some sweet bread. Soft grapefruit finish with a fair amount of alcohol heat. Medium body and a bit dry. Overall, a decent Imperial IPA.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a soft hazy burnt brown to amber color with a sly transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a decent pace. A one finger white foamy head started and dissipated at a nice even pace. The smell starts off with some sweet peach flesh, peach skin, apricots, sweet grapefruity pulp. Sweet clean grassiness rides in for a nice balance. The flavor brings it all together with a sweet fruity stickiness all around. Low riding sticky peach follows into the aftertaste and leads into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable feel about it. Carbonation rides fairly light. Overall, showing traits of an old school DIPA, but also trying to modernize in its ability to show the peachy/apricot fruity thing going on. Its good for the most part, I think I could come back to this.
