Pale gold in color with a fingernail of eggshell white on top. There’s a bit of grassy hops in the nose with a sweet malty edge. The flavor is sweet from what I guess is light malt and perhaps the yeast strain. I would describe it as lightly bready. The mouth is very light and a touch thin.

Canned yesterday. Gold with not much head or lace. Light herbal aroma. Medium crackery honey sweetness with light herbal spicy finish. Light body but slick and not as clean or crisp as I expected. Okay..

Poured into a pilsner glass, the appearance was a golden hued semi-burnt almost orange color with a nice level one finger’s worth of white foaminess. Dissipates at a decent pace. Sly lacing. The aroma takes on crisp bready malts, sly sweet corn, light toast, and a grassy sweet hoppiness underneath. The flavor yields to the sweet side of the malts. Hops make a sly effort underneath. Slow malty aftertaste, not so much sweet but it’s there. Wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels spot on. Yeast produces a nice smoothness all around. Overall, nice kellerbock that I would have again.
