Took home a four pack after a nice meal at the location in Stowe. Good food!

It's got that golden/amber color! Semi haze, strong white foam cap settles in tight.

The nose has a mix of toasty amber-malted grains with hearty citrus hops and lemon zest. Reminds me very much of the bar setting Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, perhaps with a bit more of an old world style aroma down deep.

I can say for sure, it's all American, West coasty style hop flavors up front! Not quite as much leftover bitterness as the Sierra Nevada APA it's a cleaner hop finish, but still packs a punch.
The mouthfeel is light to start with nothing but crispy clean malt and earthy pine hop flavors riding all the way through, then pushing medium bodied but it stays lively and fresh.
Earthy pine and tart citrus with golden field grains makes up the hop flavor profile. Complexity is good, balance overall=excellent.
Well crafted with ingredients that go the extra mile.

16 ounce can in a nonic pint glass.

Lightly clouded yellow-orange color with a 1F white cap. The head tapers to a sturdy film and there's some clingy wave lacing left in the glass.

Floral, tropical fruit, citrus, perfume, grass, buttery dough. All pleasant and light.

Fruit forward, orange and pineapple. A touch of caramel malt for sweetness.

Smooth and slightly juicy medium body. Slight hop bitterness in the finish, a dab of icing in the malt.

So easy drinking that the modest 5.6% abv is welcome.

DATE: May 31, 2018... OCCASION: Cavs/Warriors IV begins in minutes--not hyperbole to say most of the world is favoring the Warriors here, but why be a fan if not for hoping against impossible odds? GLASSWARE: HopDevil nonick... pours a frothy, densely humid swirl of orange haze that supports a thick, clumpy, yet airy white head... an unmistakable bouquet of fresh hay, pine, lemon zest, light pineapple, breezy earthy dank, a bit of spice, and a pleasant dough aroma--a lot to allure here... sips with a textured smoothness, easily slammable at its 5.6% ABV... the early hops elicit teeth tingles, while the finish is sweet enough to present its malts... the balance between the citrus and the pine... more pineapple and orange than in the aroma, which ratchets up the experience... my first Idletyme (courtesy of my Vermont pipeline, Jeff! Much appreciated!) is a worthy accompaniment to a game of this magnitude, if judged within its genre... its light citric quality makes it a beer worth seeking again...

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a glossy burnt orange color with a filmy cap of a white head. Foamy light lacing clings to the sides of the glass nicely. The smell started off with bright bittersweet citrus hops, subtle tropical fruits, subtle crisp sweet malt. All comes together nicely. The flavor brings together all of the previously mentioned aromas brightly and zaps in the mosaic hops like spice, definitely fulfills zestfully on into the aftertaste. Quick sweet to grassy/spice-like finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability with a sly stickiness, not cloying, but really nice. Overall, damn nice APA, definitely would have again.

Pours a slightly hazy amber color into a pint glass at Idletyme over the weekend. Two finger head has good retention.

Pretty pungent hoppiness upfront, good breadiness from the malts, some caramel sweetness. Touch of grapefruit and some other sweet fruit. Finishes bitter.

Nice Pale Ale, balanced but leaning towards hoppy. Good body and easy to drink.
