4th Tap Brewing Co-op

Good people running this place. Excellent space inside with good service from people who know what they're brewing. Good hours too, can't complain about a taproom that's open at 8am!

4th tap is a really cool place to hang out on weekends. It's basically just a big garage with a bar inside, plus assortment of video games and board games to play. Sometimes they even host super smash bros tournaments here. Super dog-friendly too!

 

Trendy brewery in industrial park. Long bar on left wall seats 16. Additional table in room and in brewhouse. 10 beers on tap, the one I had was very tasty. Friendly server.

 

Low key place. At least it was when I was there. Has some games to play. More seating in warehouse. Bartenders are nice. Beer was not very impressive to me. Had a decent variety of styles.

 

Open room with many picnic tables. Large space out back to hang out as well.

Big bar, friendly staff and very interesting beers. The beers had interesting additions ranging from herbs, fruit, spices, etc. Nice take on a gruit.

Staff was friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the brews and the brewery.

Had a movie playing with some movie theater style chairs. I heard they have a full wrestling ring out back and due some interesting promotions.

Definitely worth a stop and worth trying their interesting brews.

 

It's been a while since I've been there, but I was impressed with the overall quality of the taproom for a relatively new brewery. It's a large dedicated, air conditioned space next to the actual brewery. It's tastefully designed and decorated. There's plenty of picnic table seating and a small space for live music.

Their beers are good and there's always the ubiquitous food truck(s) in the parking lots. I f you like grapefruit IPA, their Long Walk is quite good. I've had the DIPA version at the brewery and it is really good. There are not a huge number of beers to choose from but they have a handful of styles on tap and the beer is generally very good. The service is professional and courteous.

If you're a home brewer like me or just an avid beer nerd, you can go out into the actual brewery. The guys that work there are very friendly and are great to chat with about how their beers are made or brewing in general. I've taken my oldest adult son there and he enjoyed it too.

 

Really cool semi-industrial but classy taproom with a good beer selection of a lot of various styles. Have been able to talk to a couple brewers and they really know their stuff, and love it. A great addition to the North Austin beer scene.

 

 

 

 

I spent a very enjoyable afternoon here. Only 8 beers on tap, but I enjoyed each of them. They are pet and kid friendly. You can bring in your own food. They have a great collection of games to play and a ping pong table, for those so inclined. I would recommend. Great that it is open seven days a week. A real plus.
