This edition uses Nelson sauvin hops.
Pours a clear golden color with a 1F head and negligible lacing.
Smells of slightly dank grassy hops and citrus.
Tastes of sweet light malt, grapes, lightly tart and dank grapefruit with a slightly bitter alcohol warm finish.
Medium light body with medium carbonation. Brut mouthfeel.
This is an unusual IPA for its light body and color. Its sweet and bitter aspects are well balanced. Nicely done.
10/23 - Tried the Eureka hopped version.
This one has better lacing. No grape taste but still has lightly tangy, bitter and tart grapefruit, lemon and resiny tastes. Less sweet tastes than the previous version.

much like other Lamplighter beers, I want to like this more than I do. First of all, the brewery and location are great. What they’ve done with this location is top notch. But I always find the beers a bit lacking. This one I found odd as well. A bit hoppy, a bit crisp, but just not what I like. I have friends like that - Chris Truskey is a nice guy but always ends up to be just a dud. All in all, an ok beer, but they have others that are better. But I will be back...if they take me

Canned 4/8/18
Pours a decent fizzy foamy 1/2 finger head that fades at a med pace, very light lacing, mostly clear slight haze golden pilsner color
Nose big fruit, candied fruit, dried sweetened stone fruit apricot like, orange citrus, a little pith, grapefruit, bit tropical papaya pineapple like, sweet candy malts
Taste brings sweet candy malt out front, a touch of warming booze, candied fruits again, big dried sweetened pineapple, some apricot preserve, orange pith, a touch of papaya and generic tropical, big pineapple in general, little tangerine touch of caramelized malt, bit of softness, finishing sticky sweet but a bit drier, touch of warming alcohol, candy pineapple and tropical citrus lingering
Mouth is med bod, little softness but sweet and a bit sticky, touch of warming alcohol, decent carb
Overall pretty nice hop profile, enjoyable, a little too much sticky sweet malt but decent balance, not too much alcohol, so pretty enjoyable

Poured from a 16oz can into a tulip glass. thanks Andrew for sharing this with me.
Pour a clear but slightly hazy orange-golden body with a white head that reduces to nothing and leaves little lacing..
Aromas are hugely citrusy, lemony, orange juice, oranges, clementines, tangerine. On the tongue its equally as citrusy with lots of orange-lemon, tropical fruits, malty follow through, caramel and lightly sweet aftertaste. Orange creamsicle. Medium body with medium-low carbonation.
