Reviewed from (long-standing) notes. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a Cycle Brewing goblet.

A: Hazy to turbid yellowish gold with a low amount of visible carbonation. Forms a finger's worth of white head with good retention.

S: Tropical fruit for days on the nose ā€“ guava, passion fruit, and milder pineapple notes. Peach and orangey citrus fruit. Biscuity malts and Iā€™m assuming some wheat or oats. Juicy for sure, and this smells really nice.

T: Tropical fruit here as well ā€“ passion fruit and guava again. Tangerines, oranges and kumquats. Lychee and peach and pineapple. Biscuit malts and some yeastiness adds fullness to the flavor. A modest bitterness with more stone fruits in the hang.

M: Medium body for style, with good carbonation sensation and low alcohol presence.

O: A really good beer. Huge fruit flavors that still manage to stay nicely integrated with the rest of the hop profile. This is the best of the few beers I've had from Civil Society.

so sad that a guy from california has to add this beer.... the beer scene is definitely crazy but untappd already has 400 ticks.... i wish more people would use BA. this is a really nice fruit/IPA. nice to see it finally accomplished without killing the carbonation with added fruit juice..... cheers!

Had on tap at brewery 7.15.17

Insane, just a fantastic beer- super juicy NE style IPA but throw in a breast/yeasty funk finish. This beer will be for everyone - must love the backside funk!

Best brewery in America? Who's better?

Excellent new England ipa. Bitterness is very fair and the fruit is subtly done but you can pick out the flavors. Another winner... These guys can do no wrong. Forget treehouse, this is the gold standard

Newest release of Schmedium. Peach & guava IPA. Released Saturday, 7/1/17. Canned 6/30...can't get much fresher than that.

Civil Society makes some amazing brews. The hazy/pineapple juice look seems pretty consistent for all the CS beers I've had (Fresh, Blondes, Pulp, Juice, Emerald Showers), but each has their own character and individuality. I showed up to get some cans to go and found out I had to wait in an almost hour-long line. Yeah, I know what they say about beer you have to wait in line for, but this is worth every second of the wait. Plus I fit right in with my beard, and the nice guy I was standing next to went in and bought me a line beer!

Anyway, amazing beer in every way. I still think I like Fresh just a little more, but this is really good. More guava than peach, especially on the nose, but that's not a bad thing. If you are ever in the Jupiter, FL area, go to Civil Society and try their beers, and if you're lucky they won't be sold out of cans so you can take some home.

This is a beautiful hazy up a, taking this as just an IPA, it's phenomenal. The fruit however takes it to another level. I really enjoy the peach guava combo. This is a truly crushable brew in this summer heat. The peach hits you in waves up front then fades into guava on the back and with a super crisp and clean finish. This is extremely balanced.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange. Smells of citrus, a little peach, and faint yeasty bubble gum. Tastes of citrus, peach, guava builds into the back end with some sweetness. A little bit acidic, too. And finally, the trademark Civil yeast flavor. Stronger here than their regular IPAs. Medium body. Not bad, but the fruit doesn't do it for me.
